Finchtastic 50 Posted October 26, 2014 So I'm looting Elektro and as many of you know, the zombies there are basically non-stop...You can NEVER kill them all...So I'm up top of the pub building, the one with 3 rooms and the hallway. I'm going towards the stairs to leave and a zombie charges me out of nowhere, straight through the wall, off the second floor and fell into the street...I mean come on now, it was hilarious and all, but isn't this a little ridiculous? Zombies can just charge through whatever they want like an unblocked linebacker. I've yet to see any kind of estimate as to when they will fix this, but I'm assuming it won't be until beta, which would be terrible. Has anyone heard ANYTHING about a fix for this garbage? Also, this only happens in Elektro...Everywhere else they respawn, but eventually stop once you've killed X amount of them (Idk exactly what it is, or if it's even a set number...Just what I've noticed) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

(about 15-25 minutes ago) There aren't always that many, usually 2 or 3...But they don't stop coming, even if I'm silent. Baker. 1484 Posted October 26, 2014 (edited) I apologize on behalf of the dev team (even though I'm not affiliated with them in any way) that the early access development build of a game currently in alpha does function 100% the way it's intended. blackberrygoo 1416 Posted October 26, 2014 How many did you actually kill ? I've been through elektro on stable and experimental and there's usually only about 10-15 in elektro .... Just kill them all with a melee and make sure to keep count ! Zeds pathfinding IS complete but there are many other facets of the zombies that play into how they work , like their sensors , the sensors I believe allow them to see us even when were behind closed doors or hidden well. So although pathfinding is done there are a couple of other things that need work and I must say the zombies don't run through doors and walls nearly as much as a couple months ago . ChainReactor 922 Posted October 26, 2014 I once looted Elektro and there have been 2 or 3 zombies locked in a room on a second floor inside of an appartement building. As they spotted me, they turned aggro and their animatinons made them glitch thruogh the wall one after another. Noone survived the fall. You're complaining about the Zombie AI, which has been addressed about 100 times since launch, last year, by the development team. Now if you're too lazy to actually look around about Zombies still bugging out, and what's being done about it, you deserve Patrick Stewart facepalms. ChainReactor 922 Posted October 26, 2014 By the way, i think that zombies-glitch-through walls thingy is not neccesarily related to the progress on the zombies itself ( which has been huge over the last patches ) but more with incomplete / buggy collision models of certain buildings. I don't know it of course, but it would make sense, since you can lock zombies perfectly in some buildings, while they happily warp through others like the police station.
