Hey,

I am currently planning on buying DayZ, and im not too sure if i would like it.

First off here are my specs:

Processor: Intel® Core i7-3517U CPU @ 1.90GHz 2.40GHz

RAM: 8.00GB (have 7.63GB)

System Type: 64-bit

Windows 8.1

Intel® HD Graphics 4000

Some information about me;

17 Years old

Currently working ~30hours a week

Going to school

No payments (e.i bills)

Have the $30? Yes. Do i want to spend it if i cannot play the game with my specs? No.

Do i have friends who play? I have no friends >:

So i would basically like some feedback about the game and if my system would be able to handle the game.

Thanks,

Slaughter

Low settings pretty much, the game is heavily CPU intensive, i hink that 1.92.4Ghz will get you low/medium at best.

IMO you will struggle to play the game with a frame rate that would allow you to enjoy the game. I know people who have played on similar spec setups, they were getting anywhere between 8-30fps on the lowest settings, for me that would be unplayable. You may however be able to put up with those sorts of frames and at the end of the day it is your decision.

honestly... we don't know.  because what works fine today could be getting 2 fps next patch.  or 400fps.  alpha.

onboard graphics though... onboard graphics are good for solitaire and netflix...  okay maybe not netflix. :-p

Are you serious? If you are, screw the game man. Spend some money/effort on getting friends! :)

You can buy a decent used graphic card for as little as 50 euros. The game doesn't take that much to run decently. I had a 6950 before and it ran fine. But a 4000? no.

I think it's worth it, personally.   You'll definitely have to turn your settings all the way down, but it's not so bad.
