Red_Ensign 990 Posted September 25, 2014 I have a firefighter jacket. I think it might be rare because I can barely find a mention of it online. anybody know how rare it's supposed to be?
Deathlove 2286 Posted September 25, 2014 LOL iv been TRYING to find one. And the patch says there are MANY varieties of the firefighter suite. Like WHERE THE FUCK are all these varieties at? Unless its messed up like the hunting knife and SMERSH vest is at the moment. : /
odin_lowe 3686 Posted September 25, 2014 Was only been able to find one in firestations. It's as rare as the medic outfits, as it's pretty restricted to certain building spawns.
IIvIIozzie 31 Posted September 25, 2014 The firestation would be a pretty obvious starting point. That's where I found mine, along with several fire axes.
BadAsh (DayZ) 1513 Posted September 25, 2014 I found one as well in a firestation a couple of days ago. And it can be fixed with sewing kit.
kimosabbi 48 Posted September 25, 2014 Found 2 in 2 days. At both of the fire stations in Elektro. Actually surprisingly good camo (depending on lighting).
Cpanther 221 Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) Found 2 in 2 days. At both of the fire stations in Elektro. Actually surprisingly good camo (depending on lighting). Well, it suppose to be the opposite ...firefighter jackets are design to be "visible" specially in the dark. Edited September 25, 2014 by Cpanther
kimosabbi 48 Posted September 25, 2014 Well, it suppose to be the opposite ...firefighter jackets are design to be "visible" specially in the dark. Perhaps it was due to the damage but the jackets looked quite dull and obviously if your surrounding are similar in colour (not the reflectors) then it blends in well. Almost like a Tan Tactical Shirt.
Calvin Candie 189 Posted September 25, 2014 I got the jacket, still looking for the pants. If they even egzist. The way clothing is being introduced, an average team of 4-5 people will soon look like The Village People
Griz2 77 Posted September 25, 2014 Found two of them in the same fire station, one black and one yellow/beige. I think that was the only time I've seen them though.
haven923 65 Posted September 25, 2014 I found a beige one in the tower of a firestation once. I then proceeded to get respawned naked at the bridge... (thought that was fixed :/) How does it hold up in rain, considering a firefighter jacket is just a fire resistant rain coat...?

Marlboro^Man 4 Posted September 25, 2014 I found the black on in a firestation. Made me overheat pretty quick. But I think my character must be bugged. As I can not cool down after wearing it. Even naked in the rain I am still showing the overheating message.

It SLOWLY fell back down to normal, but it took a while.
solodude23 649 Posted September 25, 2014 And Tactical Shirts.Hmm, not in my experience. I've been running around in one and I keep a raincoat in my backpack for when it rains. Unless it was changed with the hotfix.

I've gotten wet in a tactical shirt too. seems rain and cold effects vary greatly with servers. some servers you seems to get soaking and cold in seconds, and other servers it pours rain and you're dry and warm. alpha.....
