Seriously you got pissed that I blew you away. You're on a high pop in a military compound and you drank like 6 pops while I approached. You left the door open so you couldn't hear me come in. Drink in a safer spot bud.

Sometimes you hear the environment pop sound and you don't know.  This guy was so loud and didn't care in a prison.  Has nothing to do with the pop.  Has everything to do with the lesson that anyone can be anywhere at anytime  especially on a high pop and especially at the NWAF. Just because it's that lone building doesn't mean people don't go there.  I obviously went to check it out.  

 

His stupidity is what got him killed.

to sidetrack my own convo though I am LOVING the changes in experimental.  I love that you get cold.  I've had to huddle a couple times with a fire.  matches are a must now.  I of course made sure I was at least in the middle of the forest not near high traffic areas to start the fire.  With the hunting one can almost go without hitting towns to survive now.

eventually though I'm going to have to die at a military base because Im now that geared yet.

i think the "military location excuse" for KoS is idiotic but then again I think KoS is about as creative as playing say, CoD....

It wasn't an insult, it was fact, and I could have just as easily have switched out CoD for any number of FPS games.

 

Also, the juxtaposition of the camelback abbreviations KoS/CoD has a small element of creativity.

klesh made a point though. Experimental is for testing purposes. It sometimes takes much time to find new stuff or be able to utilize it. KOS shouldn't be a topic on experimental. Everyone tries to find and use new stuff and test it out.

 

However, there will always be those kiddies that join Exp because the other players there are less hostile / more curious / less aware / less geared for obvious reasons. Exp gets wiped often, noone goes for or kills for gear.

 

Back when campfires came to experimental for the first time, i did my best in gathering everything i need to start one ( wanted to make fish, hell, if i would have known how many more items that would take me :P ). Finally ( think i played a good hour ) i was only lacking matches. Went to Svetlo, stumbled upon a guy, said "Hi" and if he got any matches. He shot my face.

There's a variety of new weapons added nearly every patch, I'd say shooting/hitting other people with them which is pretty much their primary purpose is considered testing.

 

Not to mention that gear has properties, so its worthwhile knowing that if you shoot some one in the head with one of the new helmets or the chest with a new jacket how much protection it offers etc.

 

PVP is part of the game folks, it's highly intertwined with nearly every aspect of the game.  Shooting each other is testing.

I've never found that people are nicer on EXP vs STABLE.  It's the same. I just got KOS'd buy a dude with a cross bow at the top of the tall tower so you can't tell me people are "nicer" on EXP.

Lol you make it sound like your some hard nut but you're not, anyone can "blow you away"  while you're pre-occupied like going through the animation of drinking.

At this stage, there is no point. But when they implement disease/the need to purify water. You will either need to start carrying water purification tablets around for your canteen. Or you will need to find canned drinks as they are a clean source of water and some nutrition.

I dont KoS im more of a survivalist if i see someone i simply avoid them unless they see me and aproach once they start aproaching especially if they start that noob "friendly friendly" and run at me i open up thats the stupidest way to approach someone so you new guys remember dont charge at someone while shouting friendly thats just plain stupid.Other than that ill take people out if they stand between me and my targeted locations i cant compromise my position :p.
