Dayz 64b tutorial!?

HI guys, i fount a tutorial to make Dayz use more memory, like 64b

 

You have to replace a DLL called: tbb64malloc_bi.dll

in C:\\Arquivos de Programas (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\DayZ\dll

and then, put  -malloc=tbb64malloc_bi in your Steam, Set launch Options!

 

 

Can anyone tellme if i can get banned?

Be very very very VERY carefull with dll files from untrusted sources mate.

It could be some kind of malicious software tbh, nobody knows, but the creator.

Might not or might get you banned. I wouldn't trust that without hearing some more. Mallocs are legit way but I don't know how much someone can screw you with their malloc.

I have tested right now.

Same server, same position:

 

Before: 33 FPS and 1.845.788kb used

After:    45 FPS and 2.105.676kb used

 

I think this work fine :)

I can feel some increase in fps and load!

The problem with DLL files is that you can inject anything you want into them.

You have no idea if this is sending information from your PC to the creator, you have no idea if its injecting your computer with malware/spyware.

 

DLL injection is the most common way of cheating in game to btw.

Im not saying this cant be trusted, but i would never ever download a DLL file from a non trusted site.

I didnt personally check out the dll etc. That would be wizards Like SmashT. I just make pretty pictures. I leave the work to other minions. :)

 

PM him for any infos.

 

Closing as we really dont like folk dling unknown dlls.
