What is the rarest item you have ever found in DayZ?

what is an RTNT?

 

Rarest thing I have found....ummm maybe a fully decked out M off some guy....but those are only recently rare & will never be back in game:

 

The below are the only really "rare" items perse

 

Tactical Vest (removed from game a few months back)

SKS with LRS (functionality was removed shortly after SKS came out)

 

Heli crash site only loot is rare but should be back in the game soon and include the following:

 

Gernades

PM73 RAK

M4 stuff

Combat knives

10 round Ruger 10/22 magazine

 

Sadly no .22 to use it on.

I once found a friendly player, but he got shot soon after by a bandit.

I found a rope but it got shot by a random sniper, I didn't even hear the shot.

 

Other than that I found:

• AKM without any attachments (left it there)
• High Capacity Vest (took a shot for me but couldn't save aforementioned rope)
• AK-101 magazine (gave the ammo to a squad I met)
• Amphibia S magazine (got shot as well)
• CR527 magazine (in use)

Magazines in general feel a little bit too rare. Far more sidearms seem to exist than magazines that fit them.

Leave ASAP. I never spend more than 60 seconds on the coast, I bolt inland as soon as I find a lull in the gunfire

I've found fishing hooks, 75 round drums, the CZ carbine and magazines, engraved 1911's, . I shot a bandit at the NWAF a couple weeks before the m4 was removed, so I have a hardcore fully geared m4.

 

I've found only one crash site, has that been fixed yet?

 

Lots of 30rnd 10/22 mags, and a few 10rnd 10/22 mags.

 

 

I kind of agree that finding a friendly player is very rare, too. I've only found a couple.

 

+1 to leaving the coast. Its basically team deathmatch, if you're lucky enough to roll with a crew.

I like the coast, that's where the people are. >.> Leaving the coast just results in me getting bored and gearing to come back to the coast for a warrior's death. I like to meet  meat people.

As for me? I found a pristine can opener once. Only one I've ever even seen. Lost it a few hours later due to a well placed bullet from a sniper outside of Krasno.

I found an anti-stab vest... Right after I found a pristine assault vest.

I also found a UN ballistic helmet... And promptly painted it green.

And if you are playing EXP right now... A can opener.

I've found a blue press vest before, but it doesn't stop bullets so whats the point?
