The real way of playing this game is to get ammo and guns for no reason, and eat and drink from time to time. The artwork is pretty cool, too. Yeah, but I'd like to shoot someone too. Everything cool always happens when I have no gun, or a "weak" gun with no ammo. That's why I rather run around with a Mosin these days instead of wasting my time running to military bases just to die later on. I just get's unbelievably frustrating when I have a good gear or a gun like AKM and then those two guys I see in three days are either friendly or so badly equipped it makes no logical sense to shoot them (which I do because otherwise I could never shoot (though, never seen anyone when I have AKM)). I've had many times though where I beat a well geared guy with my fists. Once I had two friendly guys with M4 talking Russian to me, and we all know Russians, so I resorted in violence and beat them both. It was funny they didn't manage to shoot a single bullet. Irish. 4886 Posted August 8, 2014 OP, do this. Get a weapon with bullets, and waste them all on Zeds.. just blast away from close range to long. Anything, everything. Dont care about dying.. just look for weapons with ammo, and start to shoot until its gone or no targets are left. Rinse and repeat until it sets in for you that this game is actually a respawn shooter. Just a really, really tedious and methodical one. ;) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Godmode in reference to video games is generally used to refer to invincibility (wikipedia even backs that up, to my own surprise: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_mode). I'm more worry about the Companies that aren't saying anything and working quietly in the background.. just watch out for State of Decay multiplayer, Microsoft Games have already show some interest in that possibly..and that is a company that is dangerous. Sounds sucky that when you're about to shoot someone the game suddenly glitches or lags out. DayZ is anything but the smoothest experience, but when I've got my target lined up for a kill, I'm usually the one that fucks up if he gets away. Then again, I don't get into "firefights" usually. I like to sneak up on people and kill them when they least expect it. Feels good tracking someone for a while, reading their every move, and then that perfect moment . . .
