You realize the scenario you just listed is probably the least common form of rape, right? Basically the best way to stop rape is for people to stop raping each other. Since the most common is men raping women or men then it's kinda obvious that men have the ability to stop it. However in the U.S., at least, we have a culture that blames women for being raped instead of the rapists... which is why he is carrying the sign.

But this is off topic.

On topic some of us really hate that people don't really comment or care about how "handsome" male models are but female models are instantly judged by how "beautiful" they are. Still part of that weird culture that has misogynist views towards women and exactly why feminism is important.

Who blames women for being raped? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Surely society from the States to here in Canada doesn't differ that much. If so, yet another American failure.

Carrying a sign doesn't help prevent or stop rape. Better policing, better parenting, better education, and changing the way women are depicted in the media are just a few things that need to happen before rape will ever decline. The hipster with the sign just looks like an idiot.

As far as the troll model you linked, you picked the ONE half decent looking face. The rest of them look terrible. There's a reason troll females were the least played race/sex combination.

uuuuh what part of America do you live in?

Because where I live in the U.S., we blame the rapists for rape, and we prosecute them and put them in jail.

You must live in a blue state...

They'll be LONG into the apocalypse before any of those girls sees a cock.

Ever heard of a desert queen/ camp vision? Any girl can get laid when she's a rarity.

I agree with you that changing how women are depicted EVERYWHERE is one of the things that needs to change. Take a look at the thread and the fact that we are critiquing female models but no such thing has happened on this forum for the male models. Look at the comments about how they wouldn't get laid until people got desperate... as if that is the value that a woman has, can you sleep with her.

The point of the guy with the sign is to point out that not only women are feminists. Men need to be feminists too because we are constantly told we are apparently hormone driven idiots who don't have control over our own thought processes, among other things.

Look, the genders are not that same, but there is so much gender bias in the world that needs to go away and it starts by educating idiots that feminist is not synonymous with, "Can't get laid" or "hates men."

Trouble here, but I'm a guy, and I can tell you I spent the better part of 15 years as a hormone driven idiot who had almost no control over my own thoughts. It's extremely troubling, especially knowing that I have two daughters rapidly approaching teen years. Yes, there are some guys that seem to not be driven so much, or just have better control, but I truly believe that most guys just aren't able to control all the crap that is going on inside our heads. I know that a lot of people will disagree, but my 40+ years of life have driven this opinion very deeply into my brain.

From a picture of 2 new characters and a 2-face terminator, to an argument about rape. I love these forums.

You're not under any obligation whatever to control all the crap that goes on inside your head

There's just the legal obligation to control what you do with your body

This is defined in law under "being an adult member of society". You have rights and obligations. ya know ?

It's not complicated.

1. Law enforcement incompetence...not really blaming the woman.

2. Uuuh I don't even see anything in there about her being blamed for that. Seems like universities simply handling it in their own silly bureaucratic way

3.  Some members of the community blamed the girl for her own rape and blamed her for casting a negative light on the football team and town.[8] =/= country

and 2 of the 3 articles regarding a University in Cali....so I'd definitely say america's viewpoint on rape is not to blame the woman.

However I do find it funny that these instances come from a university in a blue state lol

anyway, back on topic..

Who is doing the artwork on these faces lol. What on earth possessed them to give us the harvery dent model xD

See... I think they can but they have been told often enough that they can't that they come to believe it. Just like if you tell a kid they are worthless over and over they will often end up feeling that way the majority of the time. We are definitely coded by genetics in a certain way, but on top of that we have a society that feeds into some of those things and tell young men, "You don't cry you make others cry." and "Even good boys want sex, but good girls don't." Which is wrong on both accounts.

Basically I'm glad my daughter is growing up with good role models out there and I can help her wander through the morass of teenage life by (hopefully) being the type of dad she can talk to openly.
