DayZ WWII mod ?

I wonder if it would be possible for someone to make a mod for DayZ for WWII era.

I mean it would required to retexture a lot of assets and obviously add unique weapons, but it would be pretty awesome imo.

Surely it should be Arma2 with a WW2 mod, after all it's a military simulator.

 

I should point out that I much prefer WW2 FPS games to modern and futuristic shooters. Just felt that the weapons available seemed to be at a more "even level" compared to later genres. Something very satisfying about competing in a clan match with a KAR bolt action.

I want a Bigfoot mod of DayZ.

 

Swap out Zeds for Bigfoot, and call it DayB. 

 

Either the same as DayZ now or another idea is you can start as a Man or a Bigfoot. There are both human and bigfoot AI that will not attack you if you are the same species.. but they act the same way essentially as the Zeds do now. Chase you down and melee attack you to death. Bigfoots are larger in size, more powerful, and faster. They can jump high, rip small trees out of the ground and take large amounts of damage. Humans can craft complex items and Bigfoot can only craft simple tools like fire, spears, and the like. Humans can obtain weapons that make taking down Bigfoot reasonable but the Bigfoots natural camouflage gives him the advantage in any forest. Everything is basically the same as the DayZ mod except Bigfoots. That is what I want.
