Red_Ensign 990 Posted June 25, 2014 today I was killed by some jerk with one shot, literally in the first second of spawning in. he had to have seen me and been aiming while I was waiting for that 30-second countdown.
umberfive 89 Posted June 25, 2014 There are douches who just wait on the known spawn points to kill fresh-spawns. You just have to have too much time on your hand to sit idle and wait for a fresh-spawn. There is nothing to gain, but some people are like this.
pilgrim* 3514 Posted June 25, 2014 Yes they can usually see you a whole second or two before you get control of your character.so if you log in and another player sees you arrive in front of him, you are usually doomedI never heard of a player noticing someone log in and waiting to say "hi". He grabbed his gun. That was his end.
Dawgstyl 51 Posted June 25, 2014 Let me guess, you joined in to a high loot zone(server hopping) I would have killed you 2...... today I was killed by some jerk with one shot, literally in the first second of spawning in. he had to have seen me and been aiming while I was waiting for that 30-second countdown.
Red_Ensign 990 Posted June 25, 2014 Let me guess, you joined in to a high loot zone(server hopping) I would have killed you 2...... don't remember where - it was where I was when the previous server said 'the server stopped responding a minute ago'. I get that like 30 times a day.

Two dudes were talking and saw me, I heard them, we talked for a bit and even teamed up for a little while. I even logged out and was still surviving when I did get to come back on. Esccapee 45 Posted June 28, 2014 Yeah, I logged in at NWAF in the jail building and before the black screen was gone I was already shot...
benedictus 160 Posted June 28, 2014 Well logging in next to the best loot spawns isnt the best idea, those areas are usually populated.
comikz 218 Posted June 28, 2014 If someone is close enough to where people typically spawn it, be it as a fresh spawn or someone jumping servers for loot, you are briefly in-game before your able to take control of your character and see what's going on around you, and in that brief moment as I said, you stand a pretty strong chance of getting shot, so it is best to log off in an area that is hidden so when you spawn in, your not exposed and visible to people. I typically find large pine trees and hide in the branches when I log out, that way when I get in I'm not easily seen, until I move.
foxdie_01 121 Posted June 29, 2014 Wasn't upstairs at NEAF was it? somebody loaded right in front me and took an axe to the spine, donating me a full spec AKM the process.

TiggyPooh 134 Posted July 1, 2014 I always try to find a good and quiet place to log out.Pine trees, or houses with no or little loot away from the main routes, or in barns behind the hay stack. Logging out it is like having a "dump", avoid getting caught with your pants down! ;)
Rhaptic 17 Posted July 6, 2014 There are Spawn Points set, The common spawn points a few people sit there all day killing fresh spawns
byrgesen 1341 Posted July 6, 2014 Yeah, I logged in at NWAF in the jail building and before the black screen was gone I was already shot... That might be one of the dumbest places ever to log out mate :)You got what was coming for you tbh. Ive yet to get killed upon logging in, is this a common thing?I can only say, that if you get killed when logging in, you found the wrong place to log out and hopefully you will learn from it.It takes less then 5 mins to run out of any city/airfield and find a nice bush to log out in, you should do this EVERY time imho.
