Server Hoppers deserve to die.

Considering that a player is completely defenseless on login, and all it takes to see someone logging in behind you is holding alt and mousing around, it is already balanced. Be more aware of your surroundings or die to a wayward player logging in, seems like a good tradeoff for being helpless on log in.

 

Still disagree with you. Logging out/in someplace safe is the best way to avoid being helpless on log in.

Why don't they just make it that if you leave a server and join another server and then try to join the original server you get to wait 30 minutes?

be solved by you being more aware of your surroundings.

 

And it's realistic to check where do i've already did? Do you realize what are you saying?

 

It's not realistic a sound but it's realistic someone log in where do i've already checked....oh my....pls God give me a flamethrower....

WAY HELL NO!....IF someone want to logout...he must do it on the woods, on a safe room, or houses that someone will never go to loot!

 

because of this shit, if people camping in a medium/big building, the guy that want to server hope going on the room that certainly won't be checked. Then from there with refreshed chace, while login he can see through walls where guys are camping!

I do not have to check a room that i've already checked because the guy that i was fighting had quit and then he came in another room!

This is not realism.

A firefight is a firefight, must be clean match! Defenders against attackers or 2 opposite teams that meet on the road! Must be this!

If i wanted a teleporting game i was about to play STAR TREK ONLINE or PLANETSIDE 2!

 

THIS IS BITCH OUT A GAME!

I would take them except this solution was talked about months ago - how the fuck the dev team can't just pick up on this easy solution is beyond me - no they'd rather spend waste time coding in some barricade shit that TP's me to another location when I log in.

There is no such thing as a 'safe' place to log out in this game. You said in a building? Well boy howdy, someone may just be in that building next time you go to log in, you dirty ghoster! :|

Things that never happened to me. I run into 2 "hackers" in dayz and dayzSA combined, had one encounter with a bunch of newbies using infinity magazines and that´s it. I don´t get why some people always run into these situations. "Combat log" isn´t really possible and if you can´t see him any more and be afraid he might log, hunt him down before he can or prepare yourself. If you play HC camping a building with no one outside is another thing to avoid and on SC servers you run into a ton of "sunday players" and kiddos - no offence meant. I have ~600hours dayz SA on two different accounts and I don´t know how many hours on the mod plus the "30hours lets see how it is now after 2years" and I never had such crap happened but my common response to such things is "deal with it and learn from it, to avoid it next time." As long as we are in alpha and later beta you will lose a lot of chars "just because ..." so it happens and it should be no big deal. Post a bug report on the dev board and get over it. :)

How many shits do i have to read  about people advocating ghosting?

 

 

So much kids low skill no worth of a survival game....a survival game based on teleporting. I don't need anymore to buy Portal 2....i do buy DAYZ.

 

 

If BE continue to listen all the shits coming out from the fingers of cerain idiots then this game will die the same as Star Wars Galaxies when NGE came out, half community quit and gg. Probably won't happen the same, as this game once it is payed it's payed, that was a subscribing game instead.

But this, just to say that if Devs continuing to listen all the shits, of any kind, that on survival game should not to exists, then this game will drop down like the shit that is swinging down from my ass while i'm sitting on the WC.

nothing unfair with camping and holding people up, if u cant accept  those things youre playing the wrong game, switching servers, server hopping is horrible , for only the worst players.

 

log in sound is the only fair way to play game, if it is not added, this game will always be too unbalanced.

what? i just said its impossible to be aware of someone that spawns in behind you , so there is no "lack of awareness".

 

it is impossible, if you want to pretend you that you will always be facing a player that spawns in on you, in every future game you play of days,  up to you

There's a big difference between being awareness and have good sense/wisdom.

This is a survival game that emulate an ipotetical apocalyptic disaster? You must loot and survive and your game experience will be hard?

All it takes is an 'alt' + mouse movement to see behind you. I've foiled maybe two or three ambushes doing this, all situations where those could have very well been people just logging in. I've also died before to players I've never seen. I mean, what do you want, players to glow bright colors, through walls, and for them to emit warning sounds when they get within so many meters of you? (lol, the later is exactly what you want)

Only solution is 1 player per server even on hive servers.

You can though. As I said, all it takes is watching your back. I mean, a player is helpless for like 5-10 seconds during login. If you really are just sitting in one position and aren't moving for a long enough time for someone to ghost you, you deserve to die. Hell, even if its just some wayward player that logs in not knowing you're there and they kill you, you deserved it. Sorry but dems da breaks. I don't want some casual warning bell every time another player logs in near me, I want to be surprised.

you, as in you personally,  will not see them.

Or teams of you and your friends that ambush players and rob them, right???

 

 

Instead of log out notification, how about alerting all players where YOU are and where you are ambushing people? 

 

 

Waaaaaaaahhhhhh!!! I can't ambush and rob new spawns when they ghost so much!!!! Waaaaahhhhhhh!!

 

 

I'm not one to KOS, but I think I'm just going to open fire on any group I see from now on. Loners are safe.
