Massive rubberbanding, unplayable.

 

Awaiting for hotfix.

Its not hard to find issues tbh.

Can the new weapons fire? Can i light the campfires? Are zombies working better now?

I could keep going, but you get my point :)

+ they keep changing the experimental branch, so you should not be on this branch, unless you want to activly track down bugs and report them.

Experimantal isnt ment for playing the game at all.

 

 

Because there isnt any concrete info, only bits and pieces they leak.

Use the devtracker to follow the news the devs post on the different media sites, such as twitter and reddit.

Its a great tool and theres a TON of information in there :)

 

 

Forgot to add, theres ALWAYS a discussion topic for the latest stabile and exp branch, found here.

So you can chat with others, exploring the same content you are.

 

I'd rather have the dev's giving info on this official forum. And telling us whats being changed at all times. We paid for early access and are helping them test the game, yet they keep us mostly in the dark.

Guessing the rubberbanding is the servers having issues coping, especially when players join the server, like when 0.45 went stable?

Everything was fine first time, then servers restarted and rubberbanding started.

if u just run in the forest u just get it once every 30min

Has the tents, flaresguns and all that been added to the new experimental?

 

I know it's gonna be there, but I can't find any answers on if it's been added yet or not.

I was just about to update dayZ to experimental again,.. but with all those rubberbanding posts i am considering to wait a bit before switching again.

Is it really that bad again, or is it playable when adapting old "anti-rubberbanding-behaviour" such as walking through doorways and keeping a little space between you and objects / edges

rubberbanding is fixed by the current hivechange action, private 2 public.

no it is not that bad, u dont get stuck in houses. zombies justs sometimes hit you without you being close. or they disapear to pop up right infront of u.

From playing it a small bit, it's not really anything like that rubberbanding of being slow inside buildings. Seems to be a server thing with laggy interaction with doors and loot and then getting rubberbanded back when running through a forest or field. Seems exactly the same as the first few hours of 0.45 on the stable servers when they seemed to be falling apart when people attempted to join the server.

This new update is almost entirely security based.

 

Grenades/smoke/improvised explosives.

go find it out .... xD  i cant test because idiots are camping the spots on almost every sevrer. tryed 3 times to run to an airfield with military loot. no chance gun shots everywhere for me :)

New item: Large Gas Canister

Hasn't this always been in the game ? But besides the northeast airfield change, anything worth hopping on experimental ? Cuz I have to say stable is not very stable , large amounts of Desync and Desync-rubberbanding on my favorite hardcore servers , and they are as close to me as possible and usually are very good at connection but after this last push to stable it seems like their rubberbanding fix is putting a lot of strain on certain servers :0!

Char reset. I'm mad.

 y u mad brah. erry one knows exp is the place for this to be most likely to occur on a regular basis. my character got reset, but also its just not an issue

i would imagine throwing a grenade is different to throwing objects, as it is a weapon and although im not sure id of thought when it is in your hand you would left click and throw it as opposed to using the g key to throw it, so the lag associated with throwing other objects would be ineffectual to grenades and so on. just a guess

I can hardly believe theres new items or functions in a big update like this.. The tweet says we will be "allowed to explore" this patch.... Anyone find anything? this is killing me.
