It's getting lonely and barren in NWAF

I can literally run around all day in fully populated hardcore servers, just firing off my gun at zombies. Smack dab in the middle of NWAF, but nobody bothers to run here anymore so nobody attacks me. I have all the loot to myself, can gear myself up with any gun that I want and nobody is here to stop me. Because everyone is still stuck at Berezino, and NEAF!!!

 

Come on people, the entire map isn't just the coast. Get your lazy fingers up and make that lazy, boring ass 20 minute trip to the west side of the map because in the end it's WORTH IT. You don't die about every 5 minutes like the coast when you are on the west side. You can gear up, shoot zombies and have shits and giggles on the west side. Feeling bored? Run in the middle of NWAF and gun down some zombies, then shoot the hordes coming after you!

 

It's all free! No secret hidden fees or sign up prices! Just take your 20 minutes out of your life and BOOM! You are in paradise! All loot for yourselves to grab.

That's exactly where I'm headed on exp.

 

I think as well people might start migrating there to avoid hackers in the next while. It'll only be a brief respite from them but we won't be the easy targets we are at the neaf / berez.

Experimental servers are only place where you can actually meet players away from the coast.

My last jaunt over there I got right to the walls on the sw before the server shut down. I was thrilled thinking I'll hop back on and have my pick of gear. Log back in, hear some zombie noises, a few messages about bleeding/broken bones before "You are dead" came. I didn't even get to walk on the runway.

Headed there now, just looted Vybor mil base. Think I may bypass the airfield though and stick to the woods until the exp build gets pushed out, hopefully won't wipe my chars.

I actually don't think you should be able to loot your own body. I think once the gear is removed from your corpse then fine, it's fair game for anyone.

 

I have looted my own body and won't deny that though. Generally I don't even try as I figure I'm over 10 mins away. Last time though three of us were killed by a hacker and all he had taken was our food and drink. I think it's because when they speed hack they use up food and drink faster. Apart from that time, I've never felt right about looting my corpse. Never actually managed it more than a handful of times tbh.

I enjoy fresh spawning on a full server and running the berezino through solnichny gauntlet, because if you manage to make it.out alive, you can freely run from electro to balota to zelengorsk to Nwaf untouched.

Boring but true, no one seems to migrate west yet, but this.will change in time.

Made my first trip over to NWAF this weekend. Got there and it was a ghost town. Spent some time shooting Zeds from the ATC Tower, then rustled up a 300 count storage container and managed to fill the thing with ammo for my M4 before heading down into civilization and Zombie hunting for a bit. Worked my way through most of that ammo ridding Chernarus of the Undead, and am heading back up to reload and re-arm.

I spend a lot of time at Grishino. Very rarely do I visit the coast. I help out those that need it and those that don't it's last man standing and that is generally the other guys/gals.

I don't go there because there's nothing I can get there that I can't get in the east.  Once they add cooler end game gear and make it exclusive to the west then I'll have a reason to go, both for the items and increased traffic.

Until then, it's not worth my time.

basicly this. aslo for anyone who plays with a clan going deep inland just means longer to regroup after death. all the action is at the costal cities and so is all the gear. there is nothing at NWAF i cant get at balota or NEAF in half the time and have pvp action rigth at my fingertips.

Why should they care? People loot up on empty servers and bring all this precious loot to Berezino. No need to walk into the woods if you can find a loaded gun behind the next door. Well - you might also find some fully geared KoS guy that for some reason is afraid to lose his stuff even though he didn't put any effort into finding it. But why care? Death is cheap and you respawn at the coast after mere 30 seconds.

the problem isnt respawns, it's that the actual items at NWAF arent better then those at NEAF. Mill spawn is mill spawn. why go far for something i can get close?

The items in the near-coast mil bases are the same as inland.

 

so to sumarize, going inland means when you die it's that much further to find your buddies again. no reasont o go inland. nothign special there. sorry.
