When foraging and hunting is pushed to stable, I will be able to survive forever and ever off of apples and deer, and watch for the hated bandits coming up three separate roads from the top of a very expedient mountain top. Said mountaintop has a cluster of rocks that can shelter a fire easily, as well as protect me from rain (It's happened, and being in a certain rock-cleft prevented me from getting wet)Anybody else find a nice little hideaway for when the foraging and fires comes a-calling? Richard III in Leicester 200 Posted June 10, 2014 Berezino pond, Lopatino-Vybor willows, the last house SE of Pulkovo, and Willow lake on the SW tip. My best finds in the mod. Will be trying them all in standalone once it's possible ;) Tulga is a good shout though. Nice and handy, a friend of mine had a single tent in that area in our mod days for us to use as a fresh spawn re-gearing station for when we'd be killed.Could be a good spot for the standalone. Agrefits 70 Posted June 10, 2014 i <3 tulga. it was my main camping location in the Mod, since its far away from any hotspot. geared ppl had nothing to do down there, and the freshspawns on the coast arount krutoy all either beelined for solnichniy suicide or kamyshovo/elektro.. hardly anyone ever came up to tulga. Cap'n (DayZ) 1827 Posted June 10, 2014 There is a small wooden cabin next to a trail, SW of Pusta in the woods. I remember it from the first campaign mission in ArmA, and now that it's enterable, it'd be a great place to stash loot once persistent objects are implemented. Black Forest is my absolute favorite spot, as its wedged between two fairly calm towns (Gorka & Shakhovka), spreads about 3km in every direction, and is incredibly thick and inviolate bar a couple dirt roads and a lovely two story house. Once barricading is implemented, me and my friends plan to seal up that house and turn the Black Forest into our territory. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
