its a joke for a mod like this, you can hide behind objects and get an unfair advantage in certain situations.

you can sit on one of the highest buildings in cherno and look with 3rd person on without actually risking your life by revealing your body, and you can take a shot and quickly hide again looking around..

it should be removed since some people sit in the one spot and only get up to take a shot they see.

i mean come on how is this fair at all its a big advantage for serial campers.

No, just some people prefer to have third person. If you don't enjoy the use of third person and think it ruins immersion or gives an unfair advantage, go on one of the many servers that has it disabled. If you are otherwise fine with it, then go on a server with it enabled. Quite simple, isn't it?

SO you suggest screwing over the majority of players so that you can server hop more in 1st person or something?

1st person servers are rarely full I don't see the problem here.

I really dislike 3rd person, for me it ruins the immersion, I want to be able to see fuck all if I am crawling through the grass etc, it seems 3rd person is being switched on more servers all the time, ruins the experience for me, not to mention the peeking over walls cheat bullshit.

And yes I'd agree that many of the people that demand it being switched on can't hack the game in 1st person.

I do appreciate what people opposed to its removal are saying. I guess I'd suggest then that all veteran servers or hc at least have 3rdp disabled, maybe only regular servers should have 3rd person since it's pretty cheesy. But so many veteran servers or hardcore servers have opted to have it enabled there are less 3rd:off servers running in my zone than you'd think. Playing in 1st on a server with people playing 3rd puts you at a real disadvantage.

They can be changed, but that doesn't mean they're good. When you take a game that's meant for 12 FoV and change it to 90, it looks like ass. Disabling headbob doesn't actually disable head bob, it just removes most of it.
