I was eating right in the open garage and he came to me with a raised sks or mosin (even though I looked unarmed). I thought about backstabbing him with my sawed-off, but decided not to be a jerk. however, I saw in many occasions many Americans and other English speaking people will try to always KOS people speaking with Russian accent or who say they are from Russia etc. They just won't ask any questions, if they hear you speak, they will shoot. So there are no heroic nations, so to speak. Everyone will kill everyone based on prejudices, for fun or because they fear of being back stabbed. Fortunately for me, I don't sound like Russian (and I am not), but many people said I have like a German accent... which is in many situations, even worse. So I just avoid people in game. I just wanted to make sure that people from GodBlessAmerica won't have this impression that Russians are always the bad guys. You have enough badies yourself. I don't like people pretending to be different races when they are not. And I am not Russian. I noticed many russians play as black guys or chicks. So to say they are racist is kinda weird. I know several good friends from eastern europe and play often with guys from Finland,sweden, czech and have even a couple of friendly Russians on my list! It is more about how they compose themself in the game there is some body language for example lower/raise gun./ running at me, or taking it nice and steady with gun put away Also I have had a couple of incidents where someone shouts friendly before promptly shooting me. They were all American's on experimental! It is interesting to hear about people's experiences with different nations and cultures and which people assume are harder to trust or have a larger percentage of 'troll' gamers. I found it interesting debate! People shouldn't be offended so easily- we know everyone is different and the Day Z community is no representation of a nation as a whole (lol). Not because of their nationality or clothing style. Also, if a black dude speaks, you can tell it is a black person. They just sound different. But of course, I rarely wait for them to speak to me.
