(ENGLISH IS MY THIRD LANGUAGE, SO EXCUSE ANY MISUNDERSTANDING!!)

I know I know. This is not the place to talk about that. But let me present my case , which I believe, is different from what I've read on the forums until now . I bought DayZ about 2 weeks ago. Since, I play a lot with some of my friends . I'm 25 , and I play for over 12 years to all kinds of video games . Do not misunderstand me : I have NEVER cheated in any game whatsoever. I am a great Counter-Strike player, playing competitive level , and I have a complete disregard for cheaters , do not misunderstand me.
Here is my problem : Last Friday , I played DayZ until 4 am , no problem . The next day , I wanted to reconnected , but it tells me that I am Banned by Global BattlEye ... At first, I thought it was a bug, since this is an alpha version: that would be totally excusable. The thing is that I still can't access any BE server (read, any server at all) The thing with all this is that
:
- Nobody else ever had access to my computer.
- Nobody has access to my Steam account .
- I am the ONLY one to live in my apartment , so it is IMPOSSIBLE that anyone was able to connect to my account or steam , or to my computer, beside which i was for 24 hours before and after my banishment.
- I never cheated OF MY ENTIRE GAMING LIFE. NEVER DID. I am NOT some crying kid begging to have a refund, I don't care about that.
- I never played Arma 2 or 3, or any other game controlled by BattlEye .

I looked everywhere to find a case similar to mine, but in vain. Always a little brother who played , or a cheater with good intentions. My case : I have NEVER cheated, and I was banned from the game for completely nothing.
Do not misunderstand me : I 'm not here to get my $ 30 back, or even my game. It is little money, and ultimately , I don't really care about it . The problem is that after having contacted BattlEye ( Because in fact, I knew very well that this is what you were going to ask me to do) , I not only had no answer , but it seems they refuse to give me whatever information about what happened to me. I totally understand the fact that it is a business where you have no control . However, it could not be more obvious that some of your players , including myself , are banned from your game without valid excuse , and seem to have no recourse in the end . I think it may hurt your business in medium term . Also, I would like to know what could cause this misunderstanding , because I do not want to buy the game and get banned a second time , while I have NEVER used a script , a cheat , a hack or a program prohibited. I open my computer, launch DayZ, that's it. No third party program BS, nothing. I loved your game, but I am very disappointed by this experience, which gives me the impression that I was ripd off. I am responsible person : if I did cheat, I would not complain , I would assume . But  right here, we have an honest player who is unjustly deprived of the game. And I'm probably not the only one. What's next? Thank you in advance for taking your time to answer me.

I saw the tag about global ban.

By posting here, I knew I would face all kind of comments like that. It's ok. I'm also a big banhammer fan, and I love bashing hackers. All that stuff was fun...until I got banned for nothing myself. For the first time of my life, I have to face the fact that there ARE people who get banned for nothing. Anyways...

Did you in any way change the game files?

If you really didn't hack you should contact battleye support

I did! And the reason I'm here is that I had no news for days now... Not even the typical ''You cheated we have a proof somewhere but'' No. Nothing.

I did not. I installed the game, played for 1 week, evertyhing was great. I played until late night without any problem, beside one very laggy server. I logged off, and the next morning, I wanted to help out a friend of mine who just bought the game and I was Global Banned. Dont get me wrong: I am NOT a cheater. I know most of these threads are filled with lying kids. I'm a semi-pro CS player, and I dont need to cheat to have fun. I just didn't. And don't know what to do now. I feel scammed.

I am inclined to believe you, it's always hard to tell on the internet if someone is truthful or not. But I've been accused of cheating in the past (not this game) when I was NOT (I hate cheaters) and know how frustrating it can be to be accused of something you didn't do. If you (and others who posted on this forum) are wrongly banned that is a serious issue that could also happen to me and others. In my opinion BI and/or the developers of DAYZ SA should investigate some cases with BE in cooperation with banned players to find out if the ban was legit or not.

Exactly my thought my friend. The only thing I ever cheated is my ex gf. Haha. No but seriously,  I don't understand how. Trust me, if I'm here begging for help, it's because I tried everything. Contacted BE. Searched on every single forum you can imagine. Nothing. It's a first for me tbh. What can I do?  Again, who cares about 30 little bucks? I just need to understand. What tells me this won't happen again to me, my friends or any of you guys? Really, this is hell of a crappy situation.

I presume it is probably useless but you could try to make a bug report about this or maybe someone else already did and you can add your info and/or vote the issue up.

My advice to you would be to keep factual in the report and offer cooperation (like maybe giving access to your computer or whatever). (see bug report section in forum)

Also I wonder if IP spoofing could be part of the problem or maybe steam account hacking? (I'm no computer expert).

I would give access to my account or even my computer tbh. If it could help other people in my situation, no problem. All my friends are playing right now and I'm here waiting man. Fucking hate this game lol.

Well if you really didnt cheat, which i find plausible, cause you wouldnt waste your time and effort here if you were, i think we know where those "800 accounts banned this week" that somebody claimed these days come from, LOL.

I remember when WarZ did it, wouldnt be surprised if it happens in this game, given the general picture.

(ENGLISH IS MY THIRD LANGUAGE, SO EXCUSE ANY MISUNDERSTANDING!!)

Gotta say, for a third language you're pretty fluent. I don't even have a second language.

This whole situation sucks. Sorry to say I've got no advice for you - seems as though you've already taken every course of action you can. As SAK says, try posting a bug report. You probably won't have much luck, but it might get looked into if you provide enough information.

I don't know how reliable BattlEye is, so I can't comment on that. Perhaps your Steam account got hacked - though that seems unlikely.

Hopefully somebody competent will give you the benefit of the doubt and be able to help you

-snip-

BE is as reliable an anti-cheat as I've ever had to deal with, as far as not misbanning (there's obviously plenty of examples of failing to ban people who do deserve it, but that's besides the point). He cheated, he's bad at games, don't waste your breath.

A quick google of "Phil00" brings up [omitted because I'll get in trouble for naming the website].

Thanks mate. Nah anyways man as I said the real point here is to understand. Even if I keep the ban, I just wanna make sure this won't happen again because the truth is that I have no idea what happened. Third program used? Itunes maybe? FFs.

I totally trust BE. Thing is i KNOW I did nothing wrong, believe me or not, it's a fact. I'm not here for compassion, for unbanning, for refund. I'm here to understand.  End of story.

You cheated. You can't play anymore. Get a new Steam account, try again.
