maninthewall 470 Posted May 11, 2014 It's about time to change the spawns again, don't you think? Berezino is a big deathmatch, and I know there is a simple solution for this. Don't go there. But let's be honest, there shouldnt be a place like this in a zombie apocalypse simulator. Let's mix up the spawns so you can spawn anywhere on the coast, it's really hard trying to make friends in hotspots when there's a bunch of cowards running around shooting unarmed bambis.
n1kko 326 Posted May 11, 2014 If I had a dollar for every time I saw a post like this, I would have about 100 bucks. You literally gave the solution to your own problem. Don't go there. The spawns are like this for a reason. They want to test the functionality of everything, and spawn people closer to the "new" northern city to ensure that everything works as intended.
byrgesen 1341 Posted May 11, 2014 This is why i live in the south west corner :)Nice and quiet, and that is so nerve wrecking heh, i love not running into people that often, because then the encounters becomes so much more exhilarating, once it finally happens. And thats what this game is about for me.

Powell (DayZ) 734 Posted May 11, 2014 it is basically go to Berezino and get shot or go anywhere else and see nobody for 5 days and then get shot

blacklabel79 949 Posted May 12, 2014 Yus, cherno is barren land full of rare vests and all the loot you could ever wish for...but ..what than ? :D
thelonewarrior 886 Posted May 12, 2014 The solution isn't "don't go there" because every other player is there so he won't run into anyoneI tried recently doing the elektro, Cherno, apartments and balota down to kamenka and then north to the military base, zenogorsk, green mountain and NWAF, then Vybor and starryNone were looted and saw no players, I tried on full servers and servers with 10-20 peopleMust have done that route 3-4 times since the berezino death match update and have not seen a single player nor signs anyone had been that wayThere's no point saying don't go there as all that happens then is they wander around the map forever axing zombies that couldn't kill you anyway
Uutgrunnen 96 Posted May 12, 2014 I've played on full servers (40/40) the last week and got quite frustrated. There was no one in Cherno and Elektro and all the other coastal cities (except Berezino). After a while I was so desperate to meet people that I lost my guard, I simply ran without cover through the streets and shot every single zombie I encountered.I then decided to move to Berezino and the whole coastal journey was without encountering anyone. All changed when I entered Berezino, a complete deathmatch with bodies everywhere. There were no efforts to communicate or help each other, KOS was the trend. Almost like playing BF or COD. I hope they change the spawning places in the coming period, the sooner the better in my opinion. The general behaviour at the moment is an insult for this (great) game. I found that rare stick and rope right next to each other in that hall outside of elektro...i combined them and made a bow. Thats about it. Than i went back to berezino to die...

Well thats your choice, but i value my life in-game WAAAAY to much to go anywhere near the North-East corner of the map tbh.Would rather part with all my items ingame, then being killed. maninthewall 470 Posted May 12, 2014 Yeah, the real problem is that no one is anywhere but berezino/NEAF. It makes the game boring for those who go inland, since no one else goes there
Sutinen 635 Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) I'm pretty sure Berezino/NEAF/Svetloyarks has already became the next Balota/Cherno/Elektro for most players. The difference is no firestations in the big cities and no tents at the airfield.Still would be nice to have some more spawns, I hate always spawning next to Berezino, knowing it's gonna be empty of loot and dangerous. I went AFK near the spawn for only 30 secs as a fresh spawn and when I came back I was already dead. Edited May 12, 2014 by Sutinen

I had that mindset too...we parted ways. I can make a electro/cherneo run in under 60 minutes and come back with everything i will ever Need. I like the randomness of things and i like the craftable stuff alot. Altho there Needs to be alot more to be crafted !!!! I hate always spawning next to Berezino, knowing it's gonna be empty of loot and dangerous I found shitaton of Food and even enough stuff for a improvised bag in a berezino thatw s full of emanies and dead Bodys :D People are terrible at looting especialy when put under pressure. St. Jimmy 1631 Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) Deathmatching will never fade from DayZ with spawn changes. Waaay more radical things like punishing deathmatching and dying need to be done before that happens. Now we can have that one close city that works as deathmatch zone and everybody else who don't care killing can easily avoid that. Spawn spreading however could change that there isn't a deathmatch area right next to your spawn. Edited May 12, 2014 by St. Jimmy

MarchmelloMan 16 Posted May 12, 2014 Joined 4 different servers last evening in Berezino, ran from police station to piano building to office building to piano building to fabric building and vice versa. All servers had a pop between 20 and 30, met only on the last two servers people, one fresh spawn and one half geared/no weapon guy. Not really enough for a deathmatch.. gearjammer 97 Posted May 12, 2014 I prefer having much of the PVP centered in Berenzino than have the entire coast a war zone.
