Empty Soda Cans

Hey guys, So I came up with another suggestion which I think is ideal for tracking and concealment, but also makes the game more realistic.

 

So, what is my suggestion?

Well, instead of making Soda Cans dissapear once you have drunk them, it should re-appear in your inventory as an empty can which obviously doesn't serve any purpose, so you may aswell get rid of it. Although sprinting away to a town which you intend to loot and dropping your empty cans across the road allows people to track you. 

However, you can counter this by scattering them around in random locations to stop anyone from following your trail.

 

There evidently isn't a use for the empty cola cans, unless you guys can think of one. But overall, I think this idea makes the game slightly more realistic instead of Cola Cans dissapearing from your inventory.

You could throw them to make zombies go away like a distraction or to freak out players like they make a "clashing" noise

As this guy said, I think that's about the only purpose for an empty can, which is also a great purpose. They did something similar in some of the DayZ Mod Servers, but the can would sometimes automatically drop on the ground, but you could pick it back up if you feel like using it afterwards. Me and my friends make a joke about the soda's, since they cover a bit of hunger, we claim that we eat the cans for food :P

Maybe we can.use it like the.mod, distractions. I would like to.see emoty cans an bottles, bricks and rocks. Thwy make noise, can signal an SOS from above.when helis come in, and can use as weapons

Welp, sometimes they appear empty on the ground, don't know if they are supposed to spawn empty on the ground after you eat/drink them but to me it makes sense.

 

I was also thinking about throwing items around the map to make distractions, would love that.

If you could cut them in half perhaps they could also act like a makeshift, one-time-use cooking pot?

Hopefully empty cans will have a purpose soon, boiling water on the fireplaces/stoves they are making, to prevent infection :)

At least i really hope we need to do this, like in the mod, with water from ponds or other possible infected sources.
