I play with 3 women in DayZ.(2 are RL friends) None of them will use in game chat as to hide themselves from douchebags. We always use vent tho.

Most guys get all weird around them once they find out they are real women.. sad really but whatever.

And yes some...I said some of the women are WAY worse than the guys as far as being vicious in this game. I've seen them use their ebil girl powers on poor guys....then bam! They attack. So yeah....guys watch out!

I definitely agree, if my other half is remotely like she is in real life during that one week of the month and played DayZ, I'd have probably rage quit through her spawn camping me.

I kind of understand OP, some of us have partners, some don't, some are in love, some are dating, but lets be honest with ourselves? Who DOESN'T want a girlfriend who will happily sit in her room, be quiet and play computer games all day?

Yeah, I know a few that play with their wives.. my wife plays a ton of games with me, but DayZ is just too much for her.

Its sort of the most hardcore game a girl, donkey, wizard or anyone for that matter could play.

My wife finally broke down and decided to try it out after watching me and my buddies play for the last few months.

I never thought she'd like it but we've been having a blast playing together. :)

I think I don't fully understand what you're trying to get at. We were merely explaining that there are a lot of girlgamers around, but most chose not to identify themselves being that gender, because of the harassment that will inevitably follow, as this is the internet.

We are reaching a point in time where more and more people are supporting 100% TOTAL EQUALITY, though we still need to trim the glorious lawn we have here. Sexism, racism, and religion-ism or whatever exists for every gender, race, or religion out there. There are people who are sexist against guys, people sexist against girls, and people racist against every skin color on the planet, and people who will base their opinions on you due to your religion.

 

Unfortunately, this can't be changed- Its a state of mind. No matter how many times I get frustrated at someone for calling all men "sexually driven rapist pigs" or someone thinking women are just sexual objects or someone basing their interactions on someone's skin color or someone considering a muslim a 'terrorist', it is incredibly hard to deter. Sure, you can argue with said person, but it barely does any good.

 

This brings me to my main point-

 

WHO CARES?

 

If we're all equals, 100%, your gender should not matter when it comes to games like DayZ, and no one should give a shit how many guys or girls are playing.

 

Of course you can't avoid the disadvantages and advantages that come with a gender, race, or religion. The main disadvantage being prejudice, because no matter who you are, white, black, male, female, you will be a victim of prejudice, some more then others.

 

Hopefully one day there will be no advantages or disadvantages and we'll all be on a level playing field.

 

Until then, who cares? If I meet a girl in game, cool, but its just another player.
