o5pr3y (DayZ) 77 Posted May 2, 2014 But seriously, there's no guarantee for you to enjoy a game.I don't see why that would entitle you to a refund.
terminal_boy 860 Posted May 2, 2014 As much as I tend to agree with you, there are BIG warnings regarding the game not being finished on its Steam Page, so it's not like you weren't expecting features to be broken/not implemented.
Deathlove 2286 Posted May 2, 2014 they learn nothing from MOD. is not reflected.i do not feel the motivation from a developer.what do you think about this? The only refund you would be able to get be probably from steam but it wont be actual money just steam cash if anything. Also it is an alpha. Its like real gambling to an extent as well as a long term investment on a product that is not completed yet.
tommy290 941 Posted May 2, 2014 I think a refund is in order. Were you ever warned that this was in alpha state, and not a full release version? NO! Show me one place that said it's alpha and that you shouldn't expect it to be free from bugs and/or not have all the content implemented! It's a sham I say! A SHAM!
SFRGaming 718 Posted May 2, 2014 (edited) they learn nothing from MOD. is not reflected.i do not feel the motivation from a developer.what do you think about this? YOU decided to buy the game. YOU clicked I understand when Dean CLEARLY stated the game is unfinished, buggy, laggy, and a terrible experience as well as advising you to NOT buy the game and wait for Beta or full release. YOU failed to understand, so therefore, Dean owes you nothing. Unless the game intentionally crashed people's PCs and destroyed all the hardware within, or disobeyed any given law, Dean is not entitled to refund your currency that YOU decided to spend AFTER you "Understood" the game ISN'T finished and has MANY bugs. Now do us a favor and either, 1: Understand you screwed up and accept your mistake, or 2: Stop complaining and help contribute towards making the game better, rather than being part of the group of asinine imbeciles that condemn the game for what it is in EARLY ACCESS ALPHA. Elgen 9 Posted May 2, 2014 I think your opinion is nothing but laughable. What do you mean by not reflected? What do you expect of a game in early access that is not in this game already? What could be different in the developers motivation, and why dont you feel their dedication? And last of all, why do you want a refund for paying to be a tester in an early access game and not wait until full release? Havent you read the message which pops up at your screen each time tou launch the game?If so, why do you even make a post like this?

igor-vk 909 Posted May 2, 2014 you are right, you should get your money back, and banned from playing game from now on
SFRGaming 718 Posted May 2, 2014 I understand Alpha.the problem is lack of their motivation.are you satisfied? The problem is you lack the understanding that Deans dev team is no AAA title team. They are a group that simply came together to simply make a game. They have no deadline. They have no state-of-the-art tech to aid them.

kichilron 8550 Posted May 2, 2014 I understand Alpha.the problem is lack of their motivation.are you satisfied? I am sad that that is your oppinion about this matter. However, there is nothign anyone here could do about that. You will have to contact the Steam support and ask for a refund of the game, we can't help you here. Locked. Mos1ey 6301 Posted May 2, 2014 I highly doubt that you will be able to claim a refund due to the warnings that are slapped all over the Steam page and game itself. If DayZ was being marketed as a finished game then I think you would have more luck, but it's made very clear before you buy the game that it's still in the early stages of development. You're more than welcome to try though.
