Throwing Knives / Sharp Objects to Kill or Damage

Recommended Posts

While dev. team is working with throwing objects & physics, wouldn't it be better if they add additional throwing physics that gives us an ability to kill or damage somebody by throwing sharp objects. like kitchen knife, boynets or combat knife, sickle maybe? also I personally drop them once I find a can opener. so they become useless.

as a future of this idea; sharp objects may stay stuck in target's body unless he/she pull it out by force. well it may cause him bleed more freely.

I'de love to attach the Mosin Bayonet to the stick used to craft the Improvised Bow, and end up with an Improvised Javelin of sorts, would be funny/awesome to just pin someone down with that, lol...

Throwing knives have always been on my mind since the mod , I think it's a great idea and needs to be implemented ... Throwing knives accurately takes some training though , but I mean so does shooting a gun and every survivor seems to do that pretty well , and like original poster said , you can find knives everywhere but they become useless if you have a can opener and better melee.

Shooting a gun at the ranges in the game isn't tough at all, especially if you can brace yourself against something. Throwing knives and axes require you to sort of guess at how many turns it has to take while in the air and planning accordingly. At least this is how it was explained it to me, I'm not a thrower. I'd like to see poison in the game. I can't imagine a thrown knife doing much damage unless it hits a major blood vessel.
