Zombie pushing player through walls

So, after a long break a couple of friends invited me to play standalone with them.

Spawn with a new character on the coast near Olsha.

Walked into a house to look for loot and a zombie followed me.

After trading bunches for a bit scored my first K.O. on that zombie and it fell on its ugly face, pushing me straight through the wall..

Now am stuck inside of a fucking house and nothing I tried can get me out.

 

Re-logging, vaulting, crawling, crouching, trying using eat/drink to glitch through wall, nothing helps.

ALL games have issues. Even in WOW, people get stuck in weird places. This game doesn't have a way to get admin help if you are stuck. They expect a higher level of play from the players. Don't give up, keep working at it. I was stuck in the water at the new town for a long time, but patience paid off and I got free. You can do it too. I have faith in you. I stopped playing this game a long while ago, maybe like half a year ago. At that time when I killed a zombie, its dead body glitched me into a house. I was able to get out by using eat animation but this time around I got no fucking food and everything I tried did not help me.

this actually happened to me yesterday, was hiding outside of the building where a guy was aiming down a hallway, and i was getting ready to make my move when a zombie pushing me into the hallway,

Details details, I said it was a long time ago. I got standalone as soon as it came up on steam, played for a bit and left it since there was absolutely nothing to do and tons of glitches. So five month is nearly half a year, the rest are in the details Mr.Forum Troll.

Well, not sure about Norway, but here in the US, Walmart will give refunds on about anything. Take your game into the local WallyWorld and see if they will refund it. If they won't, you can wait another half year, or 5 months, and try again.

Well, I already died too many times due to stupid glitches. I bought the game very recently to join a couple of friends who used to play the mod version. I was very satisfied initially, but now I'm getting more annoyed than anything. 

 

These are the two of my stupidest deaths:

 

Very well geared, tons of food. Being chased by Zs at Cherno. Since they supposedly can't climb stairs, I ran to one of those green houses with stairs on the outside. A zombie somehow manages to get his head beneath me thus pushing and clipping  me UP TO THE ROOF. Had to jump and died.

 

Just now, I was again very well geared, with a faithful SKS and tons of ammo. Heard a zombie in the distance, but ignored it. Went into police station. Zombie somehow gets in and climbs the stairs. Ran towards me, pushed me through a wall and I died.

 

I don't mind getting killed by other killers or Zs legitimaly, I don't consider that to be a waste of time. But when it's stupid glitches and bugs that get me dead, I get really pissed. I'm really bored now, I guess I'll stop playing and wait for vehicle and stash updates.

You can go prone and try to get out.  Usually that works.  If you cannot go prone or vault out thru a wall, just keep running around aimlessly inside the structure and usually you'll hit something which will give you some crippling damage... then you can probably crawl out.

 

Yesterday, one of my squadies was on the middle floor of the ATC at NEAF with me, and he pushed me into the wall, I kid you not, the building shot me out behind it like 30 feet and insta-gibb'd me!  Walls in this game are biggie-brokie!  That's why I try to stay away from all of them!  Find me a good tree somewhere. ^-^

how to get out :

look at a wall, run, then jam sumthin in "w" keyboard so you keep running. put game in windowed mode, watch youtube while you wait for the glitch out, lag will happen eventually and you will find yousrself outside. for me it took a while, about 20 minutes,  maybe if you open loads of videos it will make your connection lag so you will get out faster, as irish suggested a few days ago in a post like this

If you don't like the glitches I suggest waiting longer.  They are currently working on this very issue.

 

In the meantime, I've heard logging out while running/holding forward while logging in works.  I'd suggest just trying to vault and run into the walls a lot.  You could also get a friend to lure a zombie and hope it comes through the wall at you.  Or perhaps you may be able to pick up some disinfectant or something through the wall and poison yourself.  Otherwise, you could wait to starve.

 

I believe you can submit a ticket to have your character moved as well, go look into it.  Or quit for another 5 months.  It is still alpha after all.

While many people are going to blast you with OH ITZ ALPHA DEAL WIT IT you are on the right track. Bringing up these issues is incredibly important to aid in the development of DayZ Standalone. While this may be the wrong place to post this annoyance you have it is absolutely necessary that you make a few post in the appopriate sections to get your issues known. The more people complain about a broken mechanic the larger a priority it will have. Just make sure to post in the appropriate section next time.
