arthvintage 0 Posted April 21, 2014 So, I was in Guba with two more friends playing in a experimental 0.44 update server, there was huge PvP going on. I've died in the middle of the street, and came from Berezino to get my stuff. Got my crossbow and my backpack from my body, while they were in the top of the hospital covering me. Suddenly, we started to hear a very loud alarm, like the ones from the WW2 or something, we runned a lot and layed in some bushes, then, we logged off. Seriously, I swear to God, it was a very loud alarm, scared the sh*t out of us and we found nothing in Google, anyone has any idea of what was it? EDIT: @leviathanapsu We tought about it, but it was like VERY VERY loud, the sound continued as we leaved the city so, it could be someone following us or something. qww 287 Posted April 21, 2014 twice ive encountered people playing music over mic, first time, we encountered 2 guys by flats in mid berezino, me and my friend shot 1 of them, but other guy had me, my friend wanted to log out as soon as they started playig the music, but i didnt wana combat log second time was just a couple of weeks back, after a quick scout i just went prone and logged out straight away and hoped for the best. i didnt know where they were and i was in the woods. ruins the game i think people playing sounds like that.in future, if possible i will always just log out if people try to play music or sounds to disorientate Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Some potential, but I usually write it off as desync because desync is a far bigger issue than hacking lately. Still, if you paid any attention before all of the threads about hacking get yarded around here, hacking does appear to be an issue on exp because the hackers found out BE is disabled on exp so they don't get in any trouble for it. Did I whine and cry about fixing hacker problems, death of the game, worst alpha ever, can't believe I spent $30 on this garbage? No. I enjoy the game, so chill out. It was just a theory. akpe 36 Posted April 21, 2014 I also heard this siren while looting the ship at RIfy, seemed to be coming straight from the ship. I searched around for any players but found no one. I doubt it was someone messing with me since right after that I met another player in the helicopter ruins, he also heard it and he was too far away for voice chat. I've heard a lot of trolls and things before, but this was different. I've even played sirens myself to troll others a little bit, but this was REALLY LOUD, and studio quality. Never heard anything like this before in DayZ. Me and my friend initally thought someone was trolling us in teamspeak, but upon disconnecting it was still playing. It was only until we couldn't bare it any longer, crapped ourselves, and ran away from the air strip. It got quieter and quieter as we ran, and then silence. We ran back but it was no longer playing. It was very strange and we checked around for any follower...nothing. We came to the conclusion that we thought it was something actually put in the game by the devs or it was a hacker standing right next to us. But the sound quality of this air raid sound was just too good. Very well done whoever did it (devs or hacker). It's going to give me nightmares for weeks! *We were standing in the bunker at the south part of NWAF military tents btw. Really bloody fitted the theme of the building! I was on Vybor about 30 minutes ago or so on Experimental and I heard a siren off in the distance. It was quiet though.. I looked for a player for about 15 minutes straight, thinking someone must be trolling me, but never found anyone and as I ventured North it faded away.
