crazyandlazy 376 Posted March 27, 2014 Sometimes the game glitches and instead of jogging my character walks. It makes peaking slower than usual. Is there a button press to fix this?
Judopunch 523 Posted March 27, 2014 (edited) Shift, rightclick, or space button. (unless you are on a hill, you go slower up hills) Edited March 27, 2014 by Judopunch

Gobbokirk 546 Posted March 27, 2014 what;s rmb? Right mouse button. It toggles walk if you don't have anything in your hands.
Hablam 2 Posted March 27, 2014 Try to click E or Q
Judopunch 523 Posted March 27, 2014 Often buttons have multiple uses in this game. For example when you have a long range scope, you can hold right click and actually zoom in with your vision. However this is double bound with 'hold your breath' (used to make a steady shot) You can actually bind both functions to individual keys if you so desire. However the UI for it is not as user friendly as it could be right now.
TomatoSupra 207 Posted March 27, 2014 Alt-F4 will do the trick if nothing else works.
makomachine 263 Posted March 27, 2014 (edited) If you are in hardcore or FPS view, also hit q or e. If you accidently double tap those it sticks and I've had that happen to when I'm outdoors and didn't realize I was leaning! :)Hablam beat me to it... =RK=Achilles 31 Posted March 27, 2014 double shift worked for me^this A double tap of shift will toggle between jog and walk. Also make sure you aren't aiming down sights (RMB) with nothing in your hands.
nl 986 Posted March 27, 2014 Many people here seem to use the default controls?First thing I do in any game is change controls to my liking and habit. Never used wasd in any game, I hate it. I always use rmb for walking for instance. Basic controls are all in my mouse keeping my left clear for keyboard controls and smoking and drinking :)

I am pretty set in my ways on other games but Arma is a bit special so I sucked it up and tried to learn the hard way. I still am tbh :P
omgwtfbbq (DayZ) 1069 Posted March 27, 2014 It's not a super slow walk, it's walking. You go the speed of walking.
