Is there a current list of loot spawn locations?

I was wondering if there was a current list of up to date loot spawn locations?

 

Not the Dayz.db map or any other map.. I mean an actual, current list of which buildings do not spawn loot and which ones do.

 

Im not concerned with what spawns where, but more so which buildings and places are "ignorable" due to not spawning loot.

 

..fuck that.

dayzdb.com then use the map, its not 100% accurate but its pretty good about the loot etc

This is the kind of third party easy mode BS that began the death spiral of the mod.

 

I hope to God that the finished product makes loot locations and vehicles spawns completely, unalterably random to at least slow down the horrible loss of immersion which results from these websites and guides.

 

 

The worst thing I did as a new player was to access these guides instead of just learning the map myself.

Loot spawns are probably going to change in pretty much every update, so this kind of list would be changing a lot.

I agree. In fact I stopped using them before I ruined my knowledge of the map entirely and I'm trying to just learn the map myself. Hardcore mode, compass and a canteen B)

My God, you're right.. I never should have even thought of this. Im going to go shoot myself for thinking of such BS..

I was thinking more along the lines of drowning yourself in the toilet....  less mess.

this is valid.

 

if i didn't know firestations were the only reliable spawn point for fnx mags and walkie-talkies,

i would have never found a firestation inland aside from the empty one at nwaf.

 

or run around for hours opening the same buildings until you've memorized the empty ones

 

also, the loot spawns are usually 50+ items x 5 conditions, randomized across all spawn points.

crazy, but i like it.

This is why I advocate for random spawn locations, or in the least, have loot spawn in every building. Just hate it when I come across a small town and quicly realize some guy looted X buildings and moved on, leaving the rest of them untouched. Aside from mulitary bases, since that loot should stay at those locations, everything else should be random, not found only at schools, police stations, fire stations, and factories.

DayzDB should only be used for navigation purposes, the loot spawns (experimental) are getting fairly random to the point I've found 2 M4's on the coast, as far as knowing which building's spawn treasure, when they release a update, I just start checking every single building.  The log cabins, for example even though I know no-one would go in them because they haven't spawned anything ever in the time I've played I'll still check 2-3 of them just to be sure.

 

Once you have the idea about what spawns where you can be a bit more selective.
