GrappleX 354 Posted March 9, 2014 (edited) Zombie head shots are odd at the moment, I've had it take between one and three. Also, a 22 to the knee, well, I doubt it would do much unless it hit your knee directly. Even if it hit at only a slight angle it might just ricochet off. Aim for the head of what you want to kill, and pull the trigger until the thing your shooting at is down or your magazine is dry. 60% of the time, it works all the time. over9000nukez 199 Posted March 9, 2014 1-2 head shots for a zombie kill. its a nice gun to have, just wish it were more of a guaranteed head shot rather then 50/

leefriendfield 438 Posted March 9, 2014 (edited) I will say this again. The 22 is a STUN weapon, should never be used as a main rifle. Before you just pick up a new gun test it on a zombie. Running balls to the wall against something without testing it on a zombie is stupid. You tested it and saw it's uses so instead of complaining OH U CANT 720 NO SCOPE ONE HIT KILL use the gun to its advantage, stunning people so you can disarm them. -Gews- 7443 Posted March 10, 2014 Also, a 22 to the knee, well, I doubt it would do much unless it hit your knee directly. I suggest you don't try that "Last week, a Burke County man was shot in the leg by a 17-year-old half a mile away. The boy had received a .22-caliber semiautomatic rifle as a Christmas present, sheriff's deputies said. "It felt like about 50,000 volts hit me right in the leg. I don't know if you've ever been shocked by electricity, but my whole right leg just went numb," Huskins said from his home, where he was recovering. "I really didn't know what to think." The bullet slammed into his right femur and shattered into about 15 pieces that doctors decided to leave in; they said surgery to remove the bits would do more harm than good."

GrappleX 354 Posted March 10, 2014 hmm 10 grain bbs going at 400fps, 45 grain bbs going at 1600 fps I'll bite, what 22lr load sends a 45 grain bullet at 1600 fps? The best I've seen is 32 grains at 1600 fps, from CCI stingers, which would most likely fuck your 10/22 anyway.

hannibaldaplaya 1095 Posted March 10, 2014 I shot some .22's today. They are fairly accurate, reliable guns. Of course, its a small bullet, but it is still a bullet. Most kevlar will deflect it, helmets will help too, but getting shot is getting shot.Especially if a .22 hits you in the head. You would probably be dead. The bullet would bounce around in your skull and rip apart your brain.
