Only 3 times:

 

1. Once as a fresh spawn, ran into a guy in a house looking for food, decided to axe me.  

 

2. Ran into a guy with a .357 who was shooting at me and another relatively fresh spawn, the guy i was with killed him, and the dead guys buddy came and unloaded a magazine from his M4 at us as we stood over his body

 

3. Once I was in a house grabbing some cereal off the shelf, and a guy and his buddy walked in and attacked me.  I killed one before falling to the second guy.

 

Last time was probably 30 game hours ago or so

me 3 time was KoS'd in SA :|

 

1st time I playing SA I spawn balota was kill on runway before I find any loot :o

 

2nd time I make attack with mosin but was prone and my bullets hitting ground and guy running on me and make nice hit with the axe :huh: I deserve to die for make shitty shoots

 

3rd time I was reading origin of species in berezino house when I hear footsteps coming I try to close book but you are dead screen was win this race :(

 

I die 4 other time from gun but was not kill on sight but fair gun fight I losing :D every one was fair fight i deserve 100% to die other guys doing better pvp

Three times.

 

First time was wearing a press vest and yellow bandanna and was just hanging in the coast meeting new spawns and other travellers. Was shot twice. Second shot sent me back to the newcomers beach. Near Kamyshovo.

 

Second time was just a sudden encounter and BAM, M4 to the face. Wasn't carrying a soldier kit ( I seldom do ), but I can accept that the other guy went for safe rather than sorry. At Berezino heights.

 

Third time was simply a classical newcomer slaying, sniped from Solnichnyi factory. Two minutes after the sniper was taken out by buddies that were on route to rendez vous.

 

Other than that I die but I do not consider it KoS. More like a skirmish and people die when bullets start flying and no one cares how the hell the shooting started :)

I have recently been KOS'ed three times:

 

1: Playing with 3 other friends. I hear shots, then HOLY DESYNC lasts one minute, I die, my first friend gets shot too, my two other friends manage to shoot and kill each other (ah, DayZ), and we later manage to retrieve their stuff since our enemies never even saw them.

 

2: Against better judgement i logged off inside the container in the wrecked cargo ship. First thing that happens when I go out is hat someone shoots my leg off with a Mosina. Realizing that I have no idea where the shot came from, I am in the open, and I can't run anymore, I realize that the only chance I have to survive is to put my own Mosina on my back and yell ´´I yield! I am at your mercy!´´ No one shoots back. Then suddenly a Hooded person with an axe runs up to me and starts hacking at me. I draw my FNX and fires it off as fast as I can. The last thing I see before the second shot kills me is the axeman falling over on top of me.

 

3: Against better judgement I joined a Regular server. After exactly two minutes of playing I walked up on the top floor of those old three-floor apartments that are in the center of the town. A random guy with an M4 and hoxton mask kills me. Who knows how long he had been waiting there... the Regular-players truly are a strange kind.

I consider people attempting to kill me on sight the same as actually sealing the deal, in which case it's a daily occurrence.

I've really only been KoS'd twice, and I was accidently shot once (i'm assuming it was a accident since the guy patched me up after knowing me out) and cuffed and feed somethings harmfull once.

I've played about 50 hours so not to bad IMO, tho right now I play mostly low pop as i'm trying to learn the map/explore. I also try to see the other guy before he sees me (and decide whither to make contact or not)

Every single time i meet someone, they decide to shoot me for some fucking reason. Un armed or not, i die if i dont KOS myself, i made it a part of my survival. I hear friendly i turn around and if they have a gun i shoot. I dont care if i die, i would have died anyway if i put my gun down anyway.

I  have been killed so many times by people I never saw or knew were there.  After getting the fuck away from the coast ASAP, I haven't been shot at for a long time.

Today on purpose i was keep running in Elektro, i was alone and poor equiped. I met around 15 players, once got robbed by unconcous, once i die due KOS, rest players was friendly. Before that i didn't got very often KOS.

I was wondering the same thing because I have been shot at many times.  How I didn't die the other night when sitting perfectly still for 5mins and a server hopper, combat logging, ghoster shows up and shoots me, I do not know.  I guess him being a bad shot and me being healthy went a long way.
