Because ^this guy^ says he knows what is more important than the DayZ team does. This is a development phase of the game and you are just along for the ride. Enjoy the view. So wasting resources on Gas Mask is ok but not for zombies which is the core? Hahaha, check the updates, mostly cosmetic fixes and additions. Or wait "Heart Attack" feature, wasting resources for it but not for loot fix. Wasting resources on adding new varients of Helms is ok, but No pls do not fix players glitching through buildings or improve anti-cheat or hive sync issues. If you ever play ARMA you'll know any modder can create new skin of clothes around,Go play Life mod, Wasteland or any other DayZ Mod, We are on DAYZ SA so Where are the core features in updates ? SOME people in the team work on art, SOME people work on environment, SOME people work on cooking/hunting and SOME people work on Zombie coding etc. You think if you throw every person in the company at the problem it will be fixed? Learn how to develop a game properly before saying ignorant things like that. By "some people" you mean one person right?
