I never once tried to justify the Glock 18 because of it's looks.  Only the fact that it is a badass fully automatic pistol.  Also, the remark about zombies walking through walls was a smartass comment.

There is no why of the Glock 18, so stop trying to argue it.  It is his opinion. 

 

A Skorpion is more likely to be in Russia or Eastern Europe (or so it is said, I have no idea) so maybe that should be implemented.  In my opinion, why not just add a wooden box with a giant ? painted on it that we can spend points and get awesome military guns!  Or, you know, just let the Devs do what they do.  But a Glock 17,18,19, 8675309 would all be sweet.  Variety is the spice of life.  So would a Skorpion or a Sniper rifle, other items that aren't weapons, or other weapons that aren't guns. 

 

As for realism, Immersive games are not sims.  The realism they are doing is awesome, but appropriate.  Too much realism and you're going to log in to see you character doing the pee-pee dance until you make him relieve himself behind a tree or what have you.

Thanks dude, it's np I pissed myself at all the arguments purely becasue of some numbers after the word "glock", i know it changes the values etc but seriously, all i was offering was to add a new pistol until the bugs with the FNX are fixed.

They are rare because they are an easy to conceal fully automatic pistol.  They are either illegal in most places or you need a special permit to own one.
