Sending troops halfway round the globe on such an occasion would be downright stupid. Uh huh, but thats ignoring the likelihood that there would be a ground zero, if Chernarus happens to be ground zero or near it then you can bet your ass there would be NATO forces there trying to contain it. Well the glock 18 was never available for sale to regular civilians in the US. Only Police, military and government agencies can buy it for a mere 590 dollars. Even then most don't buy it. Glock 18 is pretty rare throughout the world it seems, there seems to be little to no desire for a fully automatic pistol in LE agencies. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
KFieLd 2 Posted February 15, 2014 (edited) Eh, idk about a glock being in Chernarus as afaik, no standard military forces within the scale of the story of this game, ever carried Glocks as a sidearm. You're looking at Czech made pistols, and for Nato it was most likely a Beretta or Sig Sauer. If we were to get another semi-automatic pistol, I'd rather it be a Beretta (With optional suppressor) or maybe something like a CZ-75. I was going to say a Sig P226 but then again the FNX 45 is basically that, except it's a tactical variant having the pre-threaded barrel for suppressors, optional red-dot sight rail, flashlight, blahblah. And yes, you definitely meant something like a Glock 17 which is a full-size semi automatic or Glock 19 which is an intermediate sized version..
