looks like a militarized Remington 700 Model chambered in a large caliber, over 5 million civilian 700's have been made. Definitely for sniping though. So im just going to say its a M24 in .300 Winchester Magnum, .338 Lapua Magnum, and 7.62mm x 51mm NATO caliber.

Man if they introduce Winchester ammo there is QUITE  a few guns they could make compatible with that kind of ammo. :D

There is no such gun as AK-47, when people will learn that. There are AK, AKM, AK-74 and so on. No AK-47.

 

What I really want is gunsmithing. Grab a basic gun and mod it extensively, change stocks, add pistol grip, some rails, removable mag for SKS etc.

Now that would be cool. You would probably need materials like screw drivers and some tools that are designed for guns.

man i still wish they would add a Marlin 336 chambered in .30-.30 they are a popular deer hunting rifle so why not spawn them in deer stands? The middle cartridge is the .30-.30 compared to 5.56mm NATO (left) and 7.62mm NATO (right)

Yes i would love to see weapons in the deer stands and other various houses as well.

 

They also need to make more weapons other than the axe the only end game meta one. Currently its the only damn weapon thats considered useful in terms of combat. The fire axe should not be the only good 1-2 hit melee weapon.

Dont get me even started i was so angry when i found out the kind of damage it does. Does not EVEN justify how realistically good the weapon is.

dude i own like 6 of them and theoretically a good sharp one with a hard and stout blade would easily go through a zombies neck. and most of them dont even look similar to the one in game

Well especially a "pristine one" too. I just hope they don't bastardize the katana if they put it in. Unless its an imitation but the real thing is super deadly when sharpened.

It's not completely "out there". I don't know where people would be supposed to find subsonic 7.62x39 though, which UNLIKE subsonic 5.56 (which is not used) was standard with the AKMS and PBS-1 suppressor.

However even with suppressor AND subsonic ammo, it's still as loud or louder than an unsuppressed .22 LR. It's not "pewpewpewpewpewpewpew" like the silenced weapons in the mod.

The only Kalashnikov guns they "need" are the AK-74, AKM and AKS-74U. The AK-47 is relatively rare nowadays and is marginally different from the AKM. Not saying it wouldn't fit, but honestly it isn't necessary with the more realistic variations. I'd still prefer them doing a Type 56, SA Vz. 58 and AK-105 before doing an AK-47.

Yeah, obviously they need a few AK variants to fit the setting but guns like the G3, FN FAL, M16A2/M16A4 and M14/M1A would be cool, and reasonable (except the M14, but, whatever) additions.

Well do you agree that the guns should be able to use attachments? I mean im seeing tones of types with attachments it would be silly to leave out any of the AK brands with no suppressors, scopes or bayonets.

I just hope they add some variety to the AK and showing some images *Which im sure they are aware of the many models* might one day make it in.

I'd rather any other AK model than the one from 1947. AKM, AK74, etc are miles ahead of the 1947 model and it would be a shame if Dean didn't add the newer models. And while I do agree with adding certain attachments for the AK models, I can only see it expanding with the need of an aftermarket rail system.

Id be cool with any kind of attachments they gave us. Also if they DID add the AK 47 in game they could give us options latter on to upgrade guns to make them better to just like with melee weapons.
