You can be good one, you can be bad one. In real life alway someone may lie you and later kill. For me, worst things are alway players witch use bugs/cheats, cuz they breaking rules to get advice. You should move to a safer place and/or change your acquaintances if that "always" happens in your neighborhood...srsly. If RL was so we would have 99% of the people living in prisons or the remaining 1% surrounding themselves with veeeery thick walls. It's because it's a fucking game that people behave that way. If you were actually living in a hell like situation like DayZ a lot of those KoSers would shit their pants and be happy to actually find another living beeing that isn't after their life 24/7 to have some safety. Saying "Friendly" doesn't make you bullet proof. Giving a new spawn a can of food, doesn't mean, he wont try to get your M4 instead. Anyway, that true, most KOS players here in "hell like sitation" would be first dead one. Still... you never can say that you don't met someone which want to kill ya to get some stuff to survial. Not all are strong mental. Some people will look for team up in order to surival and some will look to kill others due for various reasons, not only to surival. Even in team if there is not many resources, someone may betray you to get that, in other words, to surival. Here people don't feel much fear of real dead, that why some of them are greedy or kill for fun without future planing. Dead = respawn. Not much lost.That what i mean before. At least you respawn with 2 rags, a flashlight, and 2 open inventory slots. I can attest that there are some bandits out there who take EVERYthing from people just to fuck with them "why do you want my jeans? you have cargo pants!" there is also tying up and force feeding rotten fruit or disinfectant spray, taking someone as hostage from a group of survivors, and the occasional asshole who gets joy from breaking people's legs, leaving them to crawl around until they find morphine or make a splint. Those would be the bullies who would also not stay alive that long to bully someone because the ones who just want to survive would deal with them. This of course only works very limited on a public server where players can drop in and out as they wish but not on a private hive...which i hope will be plenty when the game gets better. I think this is the worst thing in Dayz. I think most of us realize, the time for chatting is when you are not standing toe to toe. That is one reason we are on the forums. Want to see how long you can hang out talking in game? I guarantee someone will end that game for you in a hurry. That is a dream for any bandit, two survivors talking without a care in the world and not watching their backs. If an encounter does not leave you dead or fighting within the first few seconds, you have to question what gives them the confidence to keep buying more time.
