1) SKS, does not do enough damage. 

2) Machete's  are not plentiful enough,  should be more common, also they do not do enough damage.  They should be able to hack off zombie limbs and players arms easily... My machete's at home can.  Work on this.

2 a.)  Also, Its Russia, Add in the massive wheat scythe.  One hit kills.

3) More big kitchen knives in kitchens need to spawn.  Its Russia, visualize big fat Russian women singing songs while chopping up veggies or other bloody things in their kitchens.  More knives, and add in big cleavers. 

4) Bows and or Crossbows, craftable items?  Also potential to make poison arrows and or bolts using berries.  Something to think on.

5) Molotov cocktails, gasoline in bottles with rag fuse.  Add Zippo lighter.  

6) Bullets should not destroy just about everything in a targets backpack.  this is unrealistic.  I want you to get a Mosin, An SKS, a .357, and a .45, then get all the different types of backpacks and other gear, go out and conduct tests using those weapons and various calibers of ammo from various ranges.  Adjust the damages to equipment ingame based on your findings through the scientific method.  Ie.. go shoot more guns.  Also do this with a Machete... get a nice Columbian Machete... purchase some massive slabs of meat, put on a hook and then conduct hacking/slashing experiments. 

7) just so you know... A Ruger 10/22 is lethal even out to 400 yards...   Its lethal out to 400 yards.  Check Iraqiveteran8888 channel on youtube if you do not believe me.  Most underestimated caliber in the minds of stupid people ever. 

 

Also... If you even think about performing any of the experiments noted above.  Do so in a very responsible and safe manner... No goddamn jackassery on the shooting range!  Save that for ingame.  Also... If a Mod sees this post.  Please edit the color of the text for me to White... I tried but it would not work... thought blue would be cool..but it just strains the eyes.  Ty.

 

 

 

1 - SKS Damage is pretty fine, i've killed one guy with 1~2 hits on his back.

2 - i dont see any use on those machetes besides the motherfucking style

2(a) - nice

3 - agree

4 - great ideia too

5 - would be fucking awsome trowing molotov into buildings and see those motherfucking campers running outside the building like these:

6 - i'm getting pissed off on that too, some rework would be nice

7 - i once saw a guy saying that he shot a gatorade bottle and the bullet didnt even go through, can you belive that crap ?

I dropped an SKS near a tree, it was forever attached to the tree. Couldnt pick it up.

Tried re-logging, everything.

 

Even tried the graphics settings thinking maybe the alpha coverage was to blame, also tried dropping other objects in same spot, they worked fine. However the SKS was stuck in the bush forever.

 

Any ideas?

 

First SKS, got a bad ass kill with it so no disappointment. Would do again.

Happened to me yesterday on stable with a improvised backpack, had to leave it in the end

alot of changes on new experimental patch B)

 

zombies seem alot faster and deadly now ! gunna be some rage ! :lol:

 

elektro the removed brick building near hospital and put a police station there. quite a few new changes feels good but more challenging.

 

 

also in lakes and water you get wet and soaking wet so i think the new weather effects and water is in effect from now on.

EDIT: Experimental also seems much more stable now. Last week when it released the frames were crap for me, but that was on Wednesday night. Played for hours today between 40-60 almost everywhere with very few dips.

I dunno but that wet cloth I get only if I take a swim or dip in the pond lake but not during heavy rain, all my cloths seem to be pretty dry. Not sure about the servers at your side but my side here that is what I get. Cause I was trying the night game play just now and it was heavy raining. So I was expected my character to be shivering in the night cold weather but my cloth is dry! guess need to report this in the bug section.

I received the "you are getting wet" message while it was raining. I did notice that my hat was "damp" but the rest of my clothes were not.

Synced rain

Dampness status effects

Floating loot

Reworked buildings

Eat all option

Broken arms

Other health stuff

You can die of blood loss

Check pulse

Heart attacks

Stuff!!!!

haha awesome.

 

playing EXP has really brought me back in to the game...what a joy.

 

people are more fun, less youngsters, less twitchy trigger fingers, etc.

 

and the updates! woo!

Want to make use of the end of a shotgun after you create a sawed off.

Not really, it should be closed in my opinion. Because all this open threads in this forum section are just confusing for new users.

Anyway, there is no official changelog thread for 0.36 yet, so it is talked about almost everywhere on the forum.

Since they had no pending changelog for experimental, maybe they will skip a week.

 

This makes little sense, it's only an Alpha version.

More information = more quickly correct mistakes.

Uhm.. after the tens of millions of Euros that you got from purchases, i would have figured u would speed up the updates not slow them down to a full STOP. Taking a vacation to celebrate or what? Really hope you don't come back with a new Cowboy Hat in 2 weeks...

But I so wanted to agree with you, I just didn't want people to think I agreed with the bit where you were being a wanker, so I didn't give my beans. No beans for you. Maybe a rotten kiwi.

I know I can be a wanker sometimes, but that particular post I said nothing untoward. Not sure what your problem with it is, but I re-read what I said and it makes sense and is not derogatory.
