Where do mosins spawn?

Hey guys, im most time between Cherno and Elektro, can somone tell me where mosins spawn? I heard in Schools at the top, but where do they also spawn? I have found two M4's in construction sides, do they also spawn there?

where you used to find them you now find shotguns as well so I don't think they will ever be in as much abundance any more..

They might well spawn in those places in Cherno and Electro, however if you think about the traffic in those areas, you might not actually find them before someone else does.

 

I have only ever found them in barns and cars.

places I have found my favourite gun are:    Schools

                                                                      Long open barns (not the one with railings inside)

                                                                      The big cement rendered building with the piano in the foyer section. I found one there last night in the shelving

                                                                      I have even found one in the boot of the GAZ (car)  - but since last patch, I have not seen anything at all in the GAZ

 

Just a few places. You'll trip over one soon enough.

So far i haven't found any mosins laying around. The fact i found a mosin myself was because of 2 bandits spawning right behind me in a house after i was looting the place. Swing swing with the axe [Censor]

Red brick building with blue stripe around the middle, sitting on the top of the stairs.

 

Two story buildings that your footsteps echo in, all the way on the top floor.

 

Cars (currently car spawns are broken)

 

TEC buildings.

 

Schools.

In all seriousness every red dot in cherno/elektro spawn Mosins, except for the large tower. Almost every red dot on the map spawns Mosins, or at least M4s. You've probably ran over where they spawn a hundred times, they are just always missing, and because they are always missing, you can walk right over the spawn point and never know it. I got really lucky one time, which is the only reason I figured it out. For my first 30 hours I hadn't seen a single Mosin. Memorize where red circle buildings are in your travels. 

 

Edit: I'm talking about the big red dots btw, not the small ones. The small ones are usually melee weapons.

Barns, Pubs (2 story building), cars, schools, TEC building (Office building), Red/Orange brick houses. These are places I have found my mosins in.

Allegedly they also spawn in hospitals, but it is unlikely.
