I don't understand some peoples hostility on these servers forums sometimes it seems even the most docile thread like I opened a can of beans IRL can turn into an argument.

 

But I second the idea that yo should try doing it without a counter-top and just with your hand or on your knees to see if it spills.

As hilarious as I love to see threads spiral out of control, this was made as a joke after I opened a can of bean soup with knife, thought of dayz, and thought it was funny.

For those who make it your personal quest to disprove people to the point that you let the joke go over your head, please quit taking this so seriously. The games realistic. Still ain't real life.

something i have done in real life with mixed results actually had 1 can where i managed to get maybe 50% of the contents on checking those contents though i did manage to catch a few pellets which aint good for eating ( have screwed a tooth before eating duck i have shot while holidaying in NZ...

 

(off note though in my limited trials of this 7 out of 8 cans had as you would expect pretty much nothing ,couldnt really be called cans any more rather twisted junk metal scraps lol hey it can be boring on a farm unless you mkae some fun ....)

Go run for 5 km with 10kg of gear on your back and try to open a can of beans, standing up with nothing but an axe or bayonet, and tell us how that went :D

Even in the forest you can support the can on a stone or on some even ground, you dont have to open the can of beans 

whilst under fire or chased by a fuckton of zeds.

Well, in rl I hit one of my friends in the chest ONCE with a fire axe and he died.  Then I hit my other friend ONCE in the chest with a slpitting axe and he died.  In the game it takes 2 body shots.  This should be fixed before bean loss.

 

Another time I punched my friend in the face until he was unconcious (in rl, obviously).  Then I used a defibulator on him with a 9V battery wired in.  He just flopped around on the ground like a fish out of water and smoke came out of his ears.  After me and my still living friends ceased our laughter, we deemed this game too unrealistic to endorse.
