i say day-zee. But some languages say the letter 'z' like 'zed' and the technical term for zombies in dayz is zeds, so that could be it... I don't really know.

I call it DayZee around people who kknow the game but i say DayZed around people who don't.

This is just to stop the DayZ=Daisy ribbing.

You pronounce it wherever you hail from. Doesn't matter.

but i prefer day-zed as  others have said

1. I am English

2. day-zee sounds like daisy

Hello there

I often refer to it as

"blimminbloodyladderskilledmyeffingblindinfourweekguyagainarrrhhhhhwhyioughtasmashrocketsfaceinandiwilljustafteronemoregametheblimminaddictivething"

Or

Day zee, even though I am a brit. Day zed seems wrong now to me.

Rgds

Even though I'm English, I've always pronounced it 'Day-Zee' but with emphasis on the Zee so it doesn't sound like 'daisy'.  That's just how it sounded in my head when I first read it, so it feels natural to me.  But I am happy to say Day-Zed too if I'm talking to someone who doesn't know the game for example, and might think I was saying 'daisy' otherwise.
