I was in berezino, on the third floor balcony of an apartment building. I pulled out my axe, but that pushed me off the edge and i spawned all the way down in balota. Also in berezino, I climbed a ladder only to fall right back down and take heavy damage when i reached the top. I am a little ashamed to say I climbed up again and died...

doesn't double tap shift just toggle whether you jog or walk? an auto-run feature would be nice.

I've only killed 2 people, and they both attacked me first. The first one I talked to for a while on the road. I had my pistol out, but pointed down. He randomly pulled out his shovel, shouted: " I WANT YOUR STUFF" and hit me in the face. I stepped back and put 8 bullets in his chest. The second time, i was looting the NEAF and a guy with a splitting axe snuck up behind me and started swinging. I turned around and put around 4 bullets in his chest, but this time with an M4A1. I guess i was lucky he had no ammo for his pistol.

try holding the canteen AND look away from the pond/well when you press f. That should make the fill option appear, it's what i had to do to fill my water bottle.

i've had a .45 for a few days now. Killed one person with it, pointblank in the chest. I used 8 bullets, but that was my bad. He was my first kill and I didn't think the pistol would shoot that fast... I just found a .357 at the NEAF, but I have no ammo for it. If anything, I'll probably keep the .45 because its ammo is much easier to find.

I laughed a lot at your last words. Unfortunately, not many bandits I've met have been quite so in character ;) awesome story.

you have to find maps. the island is split up into several maps, as well. I find them mostly in cities or cars.

I don't know about M4A1 ammo, but i found a mag of 15 FNX45 bullets in the fire station in elektro.
