Where is the rain?

I still haven't seen any rain till now.

Clouds I see sometimes, but mostly it is bright sunny, only a few clouds on the sky.

I think this may be because they took the weather system of Arma3. And copypasta'd with it a weather suiting for a climate like in greece.

But Chernarus is eastern europe / russia. Its that area where it always looks triste, cloudy, misty.

Chernarus should have a lot more rainy weather.

At least more windy & stormy situations, and more clouds.

I think Clouds make everything look more awesome ;)

It rained yesterday on the server I was on. First time I've seen it.

Only ever seen it raining at night, it was great but every so often (seemed like a bug) it would instantly stop everywhere then instantly start up again. It really was quite nice though, would love to see it rain more often.

I've seen rain in two servers. It's obviously bugged (like it rains in warehouses and it stop and start again very quickly), but the clouded grey sky is very nice.

So far only seen it twice, first time was incredibly light and lasted about 10 seconds, second time it was incredibly heavy, the entire sky was thick with dark grey clouds and it didn't stop for about 20 minutes.

i sctually did see it rain at dawn yesterday for a minute or so. i want an engagement in the rain so bad makes the experience much more dramatic.

I heard it has something to do with dayz resetting the waether every 5 minutes? could this be true?

Think it's because most servers restart too often.

I remember seeing way more cloud formation and occasional rain back when servers weren't restarting every 4 hours and night was actually something that was happening. Hopefully once we get re-spawning stuff, servers will stabilize and we'll see night and clouds again :)

Rain must be currently bugged. I've seen it only twice, it ended after 20 seconds or so.

Still was nice while it lasted, also I think, the sickness system connected with being in wet clothes, is probably not yet implemented.

 

I look forward having to make campfire after running through rain, or even hide before it in some building, in order to not get cold or such.
