Invisible zombie is attacking me.

A zombie that I cannot see is following me and every time I stop running for more then 5 seconds is hitting me!

 

I tried to swing axe 360 around me but I could not hit it.

 

This zombie (I know it's zombie becosue it makes zombie sounds) will not even leave me  when I change server.

 

Anyone else expirenced this?

only fix is new copy of game ;)

Okay this zombie is actually not invisible but it is trapped underground and can't get out apparently.

 

When I climb on tower, ladder or other platform it can't hit me but just keep makes noises from under me.

 

I think that I may try to make it aggro on another player somehow, maybe if he shoot gun near me or something the zombie will go after him lol.

I just had this exact same problem, no blood except when it hit me, but I think I lost some colour.... Bandaged anyway. I'm also finding no loot, which is weird.

Invisible zombie origin discovered.

 

Invisible zombies are not game bug but they are caused by players.

Here, I'll be the first one to give you a real answer.

 

Yes, it's a bug. It's happened to me. Somehow the client doesn't register the zombie's presence but the server does. So you get hit and hear sounds. The fix to this is to run like hell, jump over a ton of small fences until you get a far distance from them and log out.

 

This bug has become even more pronounced since the 0.50 update.
