Done testing for now

I have been KoS so many times by these stupid server hoppers I'm done testing until next patch. Any time I engage in any gunfight it seems the person takes cover, logs off, joins another server, runs behind my position, then logs back in to shoot me in the head. Until they fix the excess military gear and the ability to jump between servers I can't test anymore. Bad for my blood pressure lol.

That's a more effective strategy than most people take... but you could just play the game expecting to die as well. That's how I play. I'll make a trek up North for over an hour with the full understanding that I will most likely die before I log out.

This is the best way to play the game, in my opinion.  That's where my challenge comes from.  Taking a fresh spawn and getting enough gear quickly so you don't starve to death.  Then get the hell off the coast.  Make your way through a few towns getting food and supplies.  Try to reach one of the northern military bases to get a decent weapon.

 

I understand your frustration (talking to the OP).  When they address combat loggers and server hoppers, the game will get 10x more enjoyable in my opinion.

Wouldn't be so bad if I could make it up North. If I run for long I eventually get teleported back. Also, if I exit the game or leave my current server I lose my character. Just too buggy for now. I'll likely continue making bug reports and playing more when some of this is fixed. i've made my reports, but the devs are on break so when they are back and fix a few things I will be happy to return.

i don't get why people use that exploit to kill. whats in it for them, enjoyment wise?

They get guns and gear and then use an exploit to kill a player, instead of using the stuff they have in the correct way.

 

btw, i and relay asking why, any ideas? its interesting to see how people like that think.

I tend to keep to myself in game being all sneaky like. But if you know what they are about to do, can't you predict where they will appear and be waiting for them?

Won't work every time but its worth a try.

 

Alternately I have seen a thread referring to how to get onto the experimental build of the game so you can start using the patch early in exchange for higher probability of bugs.

So rather than escaping the area, you escape the server? Finding cover is NOT escaping. The engagement is still on.

 

I don't think it's hard to understand at all. I was giving you a chance to say you weren't that much of a coward. That would put you in the exact same mold as the people the OP is talking about.

I really dont care ill play the game however i want till they decide to change the meta.

Well, I can't control it obviously but playing the game that way ruins it for everyone else. If you don't like being engaged by other players then maybe you shouldn't be playing. Obviously cowardly ditching a server at the first sign of danger ruins the game for people, especially when it becomes normal enough that anyone can casually proclaim it on the game's forums.

 

It's a game but that demonstrates such a minimal amount of integrity and dignity, that you happily ruin the experience for others because you can't stand any interaction where you MAY come out as the loser.

I have died more to Server Glitches deleting my account then players. Just avoid the two major airfields, and stick to the smaller towns. If you need Military Loot then play with friends, or hop on to a empty server. Server Hoppers wont usually hop on to populated servers in the Loot areas. Also, keep a eye on people joining and leaving. Just a few tips.

I think our particular conversation is over, you've got the maturity of a 5 year old. There's nothing I or anyone else can do to penetrate a thick skull like that or prevent you from behaving a certain way in game.

It's people like you that are the issue at the moment. You refer to Hackers as being the worse, but just like a hacker you exploit a hole in the game and use it to screw other people.

By the rest of your posts you seem to not have the brain capacity to comprehend this point.

When this hole is fixed I almost guarantee that you'll find some other hole in the game to slither your way out of, just typical of how you people work.
