You can find paper and use the pens to write on that.

You can write notes on pieces of papers and leave them for other people. :)

I have, you find paper and you hold the pen over the paper and it lets you write a note, its good for immersion , i wrote about killing my first bandit, how he tried to sneak up behind me and kill me with a bat , unknown to him the cross hairs on melee weapons are a little off and he missed, pulled out my mosin and killed the poor guy , rest in peace random bandit!

Hmm right note's you say? I'd love to write a note that lead's to another note that lead's to another note and so on. Make them think there's some kind of treasure and then they find it and its just a Mountain Dew XD

Anyone know how long the notes persist for? Server restart, or longer?
