Can I Run DayZ Retail (POST HERE)

Recommended Posts

Thanks man, i'll trust you xD

the CPU is Intel, which the game favors, and the GPU does not matter a lot in this game, but it does favor Nvidia.

That 4.0GHz should help you out alot.

Wait and see what other say before you finalize and buy it.

You are going to have trouble with that so don't be disappointed with the performance if you do buy the game.

Requires Windows Vista.

I assume you'll run it with bootcamp or some other windows emulation program. As for your specs, you might pull 30 on medium-low settings. Iris graphics are better than most integrated cards, but will still not have the horsepower of a Nvidia or ATI chipset.

This makes it interesting. Google "how to run PC games on Mac OSX". Should return a few answers. DayZ does not officially support the Mac OS, however.

That's what I did, followed this video, I download Boring Man just to see if It would and It does, but that's completely different then Dayz.  I don't know if Dayz will cause any issue.

So I downloaded steam for windows using crossover , then purchase DayZ from the  Windows steam store. I launch the game and It kept telling me to accept BattleEye EULA but there wasn't an option to agree. Then all of the sudden the game wouldn't even launch , the command screen would pop up and disappear.  Help would be appreciate guys. Thanks

If you guys are struggling frame rate wise, I do have a guide on this forum that should give you a 10-20 fps boost.

Otherwise, here are my specs:

Laptop (Alienware 14)

Nvidia GT 750m 2gb

Intel i7 OC'd to 3.2 GHz (I have an extra cooling pad which my laptop is on top of)

8gb Of Ram

Resolution is 1366x768

I have textures on very high and modified my config which makes the game look more crisp. I get about 40-60 Fps in forest. And 30-40 Fps in big cities
