I know what they all are i was just wondering why the garand was stuck at the back.

I'd have to say the lee enfield comes last in my book, other three are pretty first equal.

Whats your favourite pistol? Im a big fan of the Mauser C96, it has so much character.

If i ever have a few thousand spare id love to buy one with the holster stock aswell, go join a pistol club and shoot it every other day.

I had the same thought when I saw that (DayZ IPSC edition), but I can live with it if it's a rare find.

I was more surprised that they showed an FNX-45 considering that entire series just came out in 2009 and the FNP is not much older. Then again, it is a very cool looking gun, so I would hate for them to remove the hard work they've put in it.

For confirmed ideas, I made thread while back about foggy breath and then in next vid I see they are breathing fog :).Might not end up in the SA, and maybe I just want to, but I choose to believe the devs do still read the forums and take onboard our ideas.....so keep em coming guys :)

From what we've seen so far the standalone already seems to have a pretty good weapons list.

 

I would like to see more hunting rifles. The focus in games is always on the anti-human guns, either current military issue weapons, or surplus, or handguns, but rarely any variety in hunting rifles. I want more Sauer, Steyr, CZ, Mauser, Browning, Sako, Tikka, Zastava, etc.

 

 Yea i would also like to see a good variety o hunting cartridges available... i dont think make, is that important as far as the rifle goes... (tikka or remington, ruger cz... err all great makes, and have terrific models... but it matters more what they are chambered in... but o course most hunting cartridges are a lot harder hitting than the "anti-human guns"... an m40 or m24, is basically a remington model 700... probably  one o the most common hunting rifles in the world (it is a fantastic rifle)

 

 I dont know about this combo gun, they are rich mans display pieces rather than practicle hunting weapons imo(more a spin off of the original big game safari rifles). But err im all for variety so i wont complain about its inclusion. But i think the common hunting cartridges should be available in a variety o rifles... so .308,  30-06,  .270, 7mm-08 .300win mag  and maybe some varment/light game rounds like .223 .22-250  .243    and then the scrub rifle... 30-30   glad to hear they already plannin on puttin in a ruger m10/22.  maybe a lil toz .22 wouldnt go astry.

I suggested zombies be able to go unconscious once, Am not sure if they got it from me or just themselves though (it seems like a logical step since the zombies are infant still people).

I agree, they seem to run about $7,000. You are not going to find $7,000 rifles with arabesque engravings shoved in some random farmer's torn-down barn, so I hope this is something extremely rare. Rare stuff doesn't always have to be the most effective stuff.

Farmers aren't always poor, and its been months after the ruin of society, why should things be exactly where you expect them to be?

But even so, if its an expensive rifle it shouldn't be common.

Yeah, the idea of 'gear-ranking' gets kind of annoying in games where it doesn't make any sense. Just because a Glock 17 is more effective than a Colt M1903 Hammerless, does not mean that you are going to suddenly find tons of Colt M1903s. In a region like Chernarus, Glock-type guns would not be uncommon whereas a Colt M1903 would probably be super rare.

Yes, but all the farms I've seen in Chernarus didn't appear to be particularly lucrative operations. Same with the real Chernarus:

I just don't want to be finding this thing all over like an Enfield or double-barrel.

It should be as rare as the most high-end military loot (hey, it costs significantly more than even many custom "tactical" rifles).
