scaramoosh 162 Posted December 8, 2013 You know there are two resolutions in ArmA 2 and if the bottom one is lower than the top it makes the game super blurry and horrible to look at.... that is what all his videos look like. On top of that there is this horrible motion blur which on top of the resolution blur effect, it just looks like one big blurry mess. Then it is like he has ugly post processing effects on which I just cannot stand as it adds this weird HDR glow to everything that is so unrealistic and typical of like the early 360 days of gaming. I bet he has FXAA as well which is just the devil, I hate it, just turn MSAA up or buy a crazy high resolution monitor so you don't see jaggies, there is no need for FXAA. Just make it looks nice a crisp Dean! Why I prefer CS 1.6 over CS:GO because 1.6 was simple and nice and crisp, it looks 100 times better than the mess they made with CS:GO and all the stupid filters and smoke effects and bloom... eurgh. You can see it in a previous vidblog he played with very high graphics, and that's because he did it on his own PC. Now stop whining. EDIT: Was this thread necessary? I'm about to jump in a game so I'm not gonna look it up but it's somewhere on the forums here, Dean explained it himself. It's way way too blurry, everywhere you look there is too much bloom and the motion blur gives me a headache. He should disable it in the future gameplay videos. You really do not want to listen, do you? I suggest you look up what a debugger does, maybe then you'll get a clue as to what it does to your performance. But literally, every post this guys makes is just complaining. Heck, I even think it would be better if Dean turned down the motion blur, but it's just ridiculous to whine about it.
