Let me guess, your idea of a bandit is someone who holds people up instead of killing, because killing on sight is plain wrong and what is ruining this mod? What fun is it to try to hold someone up and have them alt f4 or try to kill you with no fear for their life? This mod doesn't have much survival aspects to make it interesting, the most interesting part is player interaction, pvp is arguably the most fun of them all. Every time you see someone, go ahead and try to hold them up with no help from anyone else and tell me how it works out.

Honestly, I think we should have separate forums for people who are bandits, or at least think are bandits, and those who are heros / survivors.

This way it just leads to more silly arguments over the topic as to what is a bandit, what is not a bandit, how to play as a bandit...

On topic:

In my head you're an arse who shoots people who are no threat to you what so ever and have no better gear than you and in stead of teaching him how to play(as in how to survive, if we are going to keep it in an in character manner), you decided to take advantage of his being a new guy and all.

I couldn't give two flying donkeys over who bandits kill, what I do care about is for what reason they kill them. Killing someone for better gear, holding them up for a robbery, killing them because they might be a threat or even if they are your enemies, in my eyes seems alright, if you are a bandit of course.(Of course if you're a survivor and have an enemy or someone is a threat to you, well, yeah, bang-bang...)

But killing someone who is no threat, who could even be a possible aid to your  cause, and is obviously new, makes it seem like you're the noob here and not him.

My opinion probably doesn't matter here and everything I say is strictly my opinion and therefor cannot be changed, you may try but I will stay true to my opinion

How can you think that i'm just here to troll, boneboys, when this is what i'm up against? The level of trolling that goes on here on this board is quite high, and nothing is being done. You have people like officerraymond openly admitting to trolling, and nothing is being done. Blanket bans for people trolling this board. When i come here, i come here to make decent commentry on posts and my personal +1 beans to posts i like. If you go back in my post history you will see that i have not one "out of the blue" trolled anyone who didn't make some sort of banal, inane comment disparaging people like leeharvey for their exploits. Seriously, go back and check all my posts, not one of them was unprovoked or any sort of attack on someone who hadn't already attacked someone else.

 

Something needs to be done about the state this board is in, or it has to go.

You have yet to add any comment on the subject being discussed, including other Topics, not only this one.

 

So now you have chosen to dispute how the Forums are run in public, this leads me to the conclusion that you are not only a troll but also a flame thrower.

Fair enough. I perhaps shouldn't have commented on that matter, as i did indeed have no knowledge of it. I don't dispute that i deserved the warning. I would very much like to stay on these boards, they have good content and are a genuine pleasure to browse.

 

I find it hard to stay silent when i see people ripping on someone for doing nothing else but entertaining others with his excellent prose and wit.

 

Perhaps i could have done this in PM, apologies for that too.

I dont get it, why kill somebody who obviously doesn't have any better loot than you?  Whats the satisfaction?  If you already achieved bandit status i would guess you would hunt down bandits or HEROs who are much better equipped.  Why on earth just kill some nub who is probably trying to play the game??

 

I made it to the military base before Cherno (i think Cherno) and it was nuts.  I was fired at nonstop but managed to slip away.  Wtf?  Why?? I didn't even have a backpack of weapon.  Whats the point??  funny enough i ran into the watchtower peaked my head then ran back downstairs.  Somebody must have seen me and took the ladder to the top, looked for me, then got sniped in the process. rofl..  I took his weapon and loot and laughed.  So with my trusty lee enfield i was a little more condifent.Then i ran into a guy with a crowbar and no backpack.  I chose to let him live because, well wtf is the point in hunting somebody who cant hunt you back??  So dumb, get a life and help somebody play.  I helped the poor chap for a while and sent him on his way.
