depends on usage really in object based language its basically gets the info from the 3rd class in the list

Its the sign for precentage followed by the number three...

 

It represents whatever u define it to represent...for me it represents precentage followed by the number threeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehehahahahaha heyfuckface!

I would say you meant to use 3% or that %3 was incorrect.

i think its essentially a variable name.

 

somewhere else there will be a value for this variable.

 

In a program i use at work putting %3 in a line allows me to have various values which i have in a table column called %3.

 

I am by no means a programmer but it is essentially a language thing.

This was explained... In another thread this came up.  The OP is talking about infection rate.  He looked at the wrong figure and was corrected.  Don't know he felt this needed a dedicated thread.
