you say I should get 30+ on very high but..

I've tried everything I possibly can, this tends to run on 15-20 frames and gets insanely laggy after 1-5 minutes playing.

I've tweaked everything I can both ingame and in the config files and I still get really bad lag. Any help?

Have you tried updating the drivers for your system? Old drivers for graphics cards are usually a major cause of lag.

Also make sure you don't have other programs running the background. Some programs command huge quantities of system memory usage and can cause games to lag whilst playing them.

For those having framerate issues. Check your setup because my system runs DayZ very comfortably and I have a joke of a system compared to the ones you're all posting.

2GB Ram

2.6Ghz Athlon 5200+

512mb Radeon HD2600 pro 128-bit

Low / very low settings

Played in 800x600 (same with 3D)

Everything but V-Sync disabled.

OS optimized for performance. (classic theme, minimal processes, etc)

A fine example of someone who has optimised their system, to squeeze every last bit of performance out of it. This goes to show that you can still play DayZ on a budget rig.

Like he said, those who have good quality systems, yet still get bad performance, you need to check your system has all it's drivers up to date and that you're not running large programs in the background.

You have my beans, Sir.

Hi, I am very concerned, because if my pc be able to run Day Z (STANDALONE) . Sorry for my bad english im spanish.

Day Z Mod, I would run 20 to 30 FPS.

MY PC:
Processor: Pentium® Dual-Core CPU T4500 @ 2.30GHz
RAM: 3GB
Graphic Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 545v ( 512Mb )
SO: Windows 7

I'll buy the alpha version (I can not live without Day Z) I do not want to throw money, I need to know if I will run at 20 FPS Minimum. Because if I work, I'll buy it when it comes out.

Thanks :)

No one can tell you that at the moment.

Your Topic has been merged in the Can I Run it Topic, question of getting back into the swing of things, I guess.

Oh, welcome to the Forums.

Screen resolution: 1360x900
CPU: Intel Q9660 2.8Ghz - 12MB l3 cache
Graphics card: AMD 6870 1GB
RAM: 4GB DDR3 Corsair
SSD? (Yes/No) No.

Im already using few tweaks GPU render ahead.. etc to 1. And Launch parameters with DayZ commander. (Just bought Arma 2 5 days back.)

But when I join a server with 38+ players, I get less than 25FPS.

On a 10 players server I can play perfect.
