foodcheck 0 Posted July 9, 2013 (edited) Laptop1600 x 1900Intel i7-3740QM @2.70 GHzGeForce GT 650M16GB of ramSSDyou say I should get 30+ on very high but..I've tried everything I possibly can, this tends to run on 15-20 frames and gets insanely laggy after 1-5 minutes playing.I've tweaked everything I can both ingame and in the config files and I still get really bad lag. Any help? Edited July 9, 2013 by Foodcheck

Phobea 3 Posted July 9, 2013 Have you tried updating the drivers for your system? Old drivers for graphics cards are usually a major cause of lag. Also make sure you don't have other programs running the background. Some programs command huge quantities of system memory usage and can cause games to lag whilst playing them.

RoyBloggins 11 Posted July 10, 2013 For those having framerate issues. (classic theme, minimal processes, etc)A fine example of someone who has optimised their system, to squeeze every last bit of performance out of it. This goes to show that you can still play DayZ on a budget rig.Like he said, those who have good quality systems, yet still get bad performance, you need to check your system has all it's drivers up to date and that you're not running large programs in the background. You have my beans, Sir.
