filas02 37 Posted August 21, 2013 I am mostly talking about the main hive now, since it's there the problem is most critical. So, have you seen any hacker/scripters lately? What have they done? Are they becoming less frequent in their actions? I have been away from the game for some time so for the last 2 months my idea of these scripters/hackers is blurry. The publichives are simply empty these days so sciddies are barely attracted to those anymore. When you're playing on a nonwhitelisted average Private Hive with no antihack you're even more likely to be killed by scriptkiddies and you can't even switch servers to dodge them and keep playing. It seems the general consensus is that KOS is the new scourge of DayZ.And when goo0gle says "children from Call Of Duty who make the KOS", I think of a group of midget witches brewing up some evil plague called KOS. It mostly depends on how the server is administrated and set up. A vanilla main hive server with up2date BE filters and proper administration has very few problem with (script) cheaters these days, actually it appears that most cheaters are sticking to private hives (even whitelisted) when reading through hacking forums.
